Is drive club like a simulator like gt6 where you can tune and how about project cars? Or are they one of those unrealistic need for speed type games? Lol
Most definitely not like gt6 its is more of a need for speed time of game with better graphic and a little better handling. Advancing through the game is pretty easy. There are no color options except for some "pre paint customization" you can't change.

Vw beetle driveclub:

A video of my gameplay. Sorry for the children sound effects in the background lol.

From my understanding project cars will be similar to gt6 in tuning and parts, but I doubt it will be as good gameplay wise.

Some of the things you can tune in project cars.

I'm not sure Project Cars will have customization. You can track tune your cars suspension, toe, camber and other things that might be more advanced like aero and things. But i think every car comes as is with either the stock engine bhp or the most it could have. I don't think you can upgrade the car at all. Also their will be choices of liveries and paint schemes. But most of all this game will be far better than Forza or GT6, better in terms of simulation and handling physics, damage. With Project cars so many things are being modeled in real time on the PS4, So even noises of the engine and other parts of the car. It will be really realistic. Not sure if you can run out of fuel but you can take your car out of the race if it damages too bad. Look at the videos on youtube and you will see this game is going to be amazing.

So you can tune the car for the track like settings on GT5 but it may be a lot more advanced than GT5, GT6 and actually work more realistically. Their will be liveries or small choice of paint schemes.
Yeah it's limited not like gt6 tuning. The drag track is not great looking either so I am hoping that what I seen as their drag track is not the final result. I think if we want a real racing game we are gonna have to wait til gt7. We will just have to make do with gt6 and whatever racing games are released for the ps4.

Yeah you will definitely find that Project Cars will model the tracks down to centimeter grade accuracy and even the impefections and bumps in the same areas as the real track. It will be real tracks though. There won't be any Drag tracks unless they choose to add Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I guess we could still tune gearboxes and suspension and other aspects of the car to see if we could make them faster. But we'll be like tuning a stock car that has customizable stock parts. But the sound is so realistic too and never the same. Everytime you drive around the track in a different area the cars will react to it differently generating a new sound effect through the cars parts. I'm telling you this game is going to be really good. If they do well and sell a lot of games, then the money they make off this game will allow them to make the 2nd project cars into something more like GT6 and Forza where they said they could add customization then. But as is they don't have the money or time or resources to do this.

They're alive!!
I'm always on ps4. The ps3 doesn't show when someone is online if they're using the ps4. I always send chris a message saying subzero sucks.

Thanks for the list cold, and I got gta v and the last of us with the ps4 as a bundle and gtav is a little different: graphics slightly better, more cars and music and the 1st person mode so it is more fun. Didnt play the last of us yet though
The last of us is fun. Had it on both the ps3 and ps4, but traded in for driveclub when it released.

JD you can can the color of cars it's just difficult to find it.
Garage -> choose car-> select custom 1-4->and choose design, colors race number etc.

I have The Crew beta as well so if you have any free time I'll hop on

Hi Spikey and cold, haven't seen you two in ages. Hope your both doing okay for yourselfs.
Wraith I'm pretty good, just stay on PS4 more than my PS3 messing with brommo and dream whenever they're on.

Mine's bigger :D

Thanks, and good runs. Your Hondas aren't that bad for not having a bunch of FF experience.
Yeah I have been trying to spend more time tuning Hondas. So far you are the only person who I have had difficultly running against. I have joined plenty of ff rooms with pros and fair well against them. I only have one week experience tuning Hondas, I'll get there eventually lol.

Thanks. I can't wait for the snow. Roommate and I are going to go out and see who gets stuck first. I have a feeling it won't be me :D
Tried to drift in the snow on wednesday in my honda, was a fail but still fun as hell lol. Got a vid but idk if i can post it on here

J, we'll have to run Hondas again sometime this week. I keep mine relatively light. Makes it more fun when I can launch next to a heavy car, and just pull away.

Only you would try and drift a Honda in the snow!
Hell yea haha empty parking lot covered in snow so I figured why not?
Take some trays that you'd find at a fast food place, put them under the rear wheels, yank the e-brake, and have fun.
Yea I did the e-brake thing and it worked for a little while but I gotta try the trays next time

Most definitely bro! I have a few more hondas I still need to get.I'll be buying them throughout the week.

I think it does slightly pull up top with the extra 11hp
It's a little faster than the 97.

My tune must need a little work then. I can pull almost even with some fast 97s, but haven't been able to beat them yet.

I just bought both of them plus another 14 Hondas. The force is strong with these Hondas, I have to admit I think I am addicted!

They're fun. And there's different ways to tune them, so not everyone out there is running a flip that's almost the same and the same weight.

I haven't had much trouble beating a lot of Honda tuners. Only people who I have run that beat me is you, and some of the hiboost guys but I think it's because they are in Puerto Rico and live close to each other unlike me where I am a few thousand miles away. If I run them with an east coast ghost I usually win with no problem.

Found out how much weight is ideal for a Superbee trapping 149-150. Also got Kol killa retuning his 400R. Found out a bmw M3 GTR could run with and beat subaru wagon STi '09 by upto a car with amazing tree. And XSGTE is a good tuner so i'm sure his sti is tuned pretty well. M3 GTR could trail the lancer VIII RS by 1 car behind with amazing tree, again vs Kol Killa.

EDIT: off topic Far Cry Review

I've been playing Far Cry 4 and it's amazing. The map is HUGE. Lots of things to do. Only managed to kill 1 asian rhino which is next to impossible just today.

Hunt animals to upgrade weapon holsters, your wallet to carry more money, your loot bag to carry more than 60 items, syringe kit to carry more syringes, bait bags to carry more skins, ammo bag to carry more sidearms, smg's, shotguns, rifles, and lmg's, throwables bag to carry more grenades, molotvs, and throwing knifes, explosives bag to carry more explosives, heavy ammo bag to carry flame tanks, rockets, grenade launcher rounds, quiver so you can carry more arrows, explosive arrows, fire arrows, and bolts.

You can let animals loose out of cages at outposts or bell towers which you can liberate. In some outposts or camps, luring animals with bait to enemies or letting animals loose doesn't work and they end up going for you so be careful. Hunters are difficult appearing on map then disappearing and in some missions you can use C4 explosives and mines to make traps for them.

As for vehicles so far there are just trucks different types of the same truck some with guns some without and represented by enemies or allies. There are quad bikes. There are some cars aswell. There are Water Ski's, wooden motor boats which i haven't used. The Gyrocopter is basically on autodrive and well easy to fly you can shoot at things while your in the sky but you can only use the small sidearm guns or weapons. Also i just unlocked the wingsuit and i just jumped out of a gyrocopter but didn't press L3 quickly enough. You have to press it straight away or you die lol. I'm searching for a high peak so i can try and do a record wingsuit fly.

There are so many animals in Far Cary 4 to skin to upgrade your crafting abilities. I've only covered 1 small part of the map which is huge. And only completed the game by 7%. There are hundreds of loot crates. You can find and collect masks i unlocked this collectible by buying a South Kyrat Map. Buy new maps for new North, North east, South, South East areas of the map.

Just a few of the animals so far. Sambar, Bharal, Malayan Tapir, Assam Macaque, Dhole, Wild Boar, Wolfs, Eagles, Pigs, Sky Tigers, Yak, Clouded Leapard, Bengal Tiger. There are more to uncover in different areas of the map. There are fish you can hunt too. Beware of the eagles from the Sky and the honey badgers. Be really careful trying to take out Rhinos. In this game you can lure animals to enemies when you skin them use it as bait. Also use that bait to attract other animals so you can skin another.

Managed to upgrade my bow from the Hunter Bow to a Recursive Bow with a scope and its awesome weapon for taking out animals at range. Even Wild Boars will head ram you if close up. I know there are bears. On youtube i've heard about snakes although i haven't seen any or haven't unlocked the part of the map where they might be. Those Bharal are very elusive you'll have a fun time trying to hunt them if you can find any!

Skills are given to you and divided by two types of skill. One called The Elephant and one called The Tiger. They each have 24 skills you can learn. You earn these by liberating bell towers, outposts or camps or by helping rebels being attacked or by hunting animals. It takes a while to unlock skills. I'm at 7% and only have 4 skills for The Elephant and 4 skills for The Tiger.

Handguns are classed as sidearms. YOu can upgrade some sidearm handguns barrels, add a scope, or up the magazines. It all costs money though. You can paint the weapons diff colors. There are primary weapons like machine guns, shotguns etc. You can do the same to these. I'm using the Skorpion automatic sidearm handgun. The STG-90 as Primary weapon at the moment and i added a scope which i think is red dot sight. And an M133 Shotgun as secondary weapon which is handy for when hunting animals.

Besides these weapons you have a Knife, You can also throw knifes and carry three throwing knifes. You have upto 3 baits from skinning animals. You can upgrade this when you hunt specific animals to upgrade your bag to carry more baits like 4 baits. You have Grenades upto 3 i have so far. Molotov's which i haven't used yet. I upgraded to the recursive bow which allows the scope and is more accurate. You can add a Reflex sight or Marksman sight to the Recursive Bow.

I just unlocked the Health Syringe level 2 from collecting so many skins from a certain animal i think. This gives me 4 bars of health and ability to withstand more melee damage from physical attacks. You start off with the basic syringe which is basically your health and you have like 2 bars. Back to weapons there are claymore mines, c4 charges, fire arrows, explosive arrows, normal arrows, Bolts. Grenade launchers, rockets, assault rifles and sniper rifles.

You can eventually unlock and upgrade from normal grenades and have sticky grenades, Sticky C4, Sticky Mines. Something else i haven't mentioned you can always buy a body armor when you health gets low. There are 16 Signature weapons which i haven't even unlocked any of them yet. The Normal Weapons that I have unlocked so far are 2 handed submachine gun MP34, 2 handed SMG A2000, 2 handed M133 Shotgun, SVD sniper, PKM (haven't bought yet). So there are 20 normal weapons, 16 signature weapons, 10 sidearm weapons.

You can repair strangers cars so they can go on their merry way or help them out when being attacked if your on your way to do some hunting. Most weapons and skills are unlocked by doing campaign missions or requests by killing and skinning and gaining 3-4 hides or skins of a certain animal. Most things you loot from enemies or chests can be sold. Make sure you keep the plants you collect and other things that allow you to craft health syringes. And keep them don't sell them.

Here are the sidearms, MARK IV, M-712, 1911, 6P9, A.J.M (30 Uplay units), SKORPION, FLARE GUN, AUTO-CROSS, D2, M-79.

Here are the Weapons, MP34, A2000, MP5, M133, 1887, AK47, STG-90, F1, MS16, SVD, M-700, PKM, U100, RPG-7, GL-94, LK-1018, HUNTER BOW, RECURSIVE BOW, .700 NITRO, FLAMETHROWER.

Here are the Signature weapons. SIXER, HS77, CANNON, REBEL, STORMER, STINGER, SHREDDER, 87, BULL, WARRIOR, TROOPER, BUSHMAN, PREDATOR, AMR, RIPPER, BUZZSAW. All these weapons are stupid expensive to buy or can be unlocked.

Again weapons ca be unlocked by liberating (xx) amount of bell towers, collecting so many masks of yalung, armed escort requests, liberate (xx) amount of outposts, conquering fortresses, hijacking royal cargo, bomb defusing, collecting journal entries, reaching higher karma levels, destroying convoys, hostage rescue requests, hunting control quests,

Also i haven't mentioned you can ride elephants but i haven't unlocked it as a skill yet. You can choose to do everything i said above with the weapons any way you like. You earn XP and skills if you disable alarms so they can't call for reinforcements and do the missions by stealth. You can go in silently with the bow. You can move bodies aswell.

Or you can go in guns blazing or use mines or c4 or whatever weapon you want. You can take them out by placing bait so it attract bears or any animal that happens to be in the area who sometimes kill the enemies at their camps. Or you can go in and take them out from the sky. There are a million and one different ways to conquer the enemies.

Well I hope i've give you an idea of what the game is like. You must go buy it, its fantastic.
