That's probably what I'll do haha cuz I might not even have my ps3 for much longer cuz ima be getting the ps4, and a sony tv that has built it ps1-2and 3
No point in buying a new wheel just to be forced to switch over on the ps4 since none of them are compatible there. Im guessing you'd be much better off with a used one.
