There is another team called Akina Speedstars already. That's why we didn't add that to the list.
As far as getting a team name that's not based off initial D, Since originally we were called RedSuns, people wanted to join us because they also liked Initial D as well. That's the reason why we are trying to keep it Initial D status.

We are not here to really be challenging other teams to see who is the best.
. Most of the people on our team are not here to battle, it's just about fun.
Our motto is "keep drifting fun".

i messed up. i thought there was an Akina Speed Stars team already but i just read something wrong. if anybody would like to vote for Akina Speed Stars please say your voting for that name and if you have already voted please let us know what you voted for so we can deduct your vote from the total and add it to akina speed stars. which we will just add up ourselves.
 
I voted for Purple Shadow as well, I love how it sounds :D

i like your crew, I'm a ally and rogue member haha but i will say everyone seems to be getting better each time out.
I like gaming with people who don't care if I bring the awd matte green rs400 (rs424 to be exact ;) out to play, or the 986hp viper on race softs, or the toyota 2000gt. Kepp drifting fun and i will keep joining your lobbys!

Surprised you managed to get so many of me drifting the white Silvia. I tuned it for drifting today, behaves a bit better. I'll be saving a few of these shots.

Yes, I don't know why he changed the whole thing instead of just adding "new pics" to the end. It probably confuses everyone as well as how he did it when we were changing names. He just wrote: new team name, without leaving in the fact that as of right now were were still being named RedSuns for the time being. He sucks at editing/creating correct thread titles
 
I agree, it is confusing. I went on his computer and edited the title. Well, we are doing a name change soon but until then I think it is okay that you have us down as RedSuns.
Any future events information will be posted on the opening post plus the title. So, if the title says Drift session xx/xx date check the opening post for more details.
