I love MvM, play it with a communicative group of people and you have one fun way of playing the game! Turns out I'm pretty good with Spy against the robots. Here's some tips for each class:

Scout - Run around and distract the robots with Bonk! Use the Sandman to stun giant robots.

Soldier - Use your Buffs and upgrade your rocket for faster firing.

Pyro - Always spycheck for spybots, airblast the robots back.

Demoman - Prepare sticky defenses, always keep some spare stickies in the bomb area if you use the Scottish Resistance.

Heavy - Work with uber medics or kritz medics and be one of the frontline defenders. Use Natascha to slow down fast-running scout bots.

Engineer - One of the most important classes, set teleporters outside spawn and keep dispensers and sentries in high ground, watch for spy bots and sentry bots. Use the Wrangler to take down robots from afar.

Medic - Prepare an ubercharge and overheal EVERYONE before the round starts. Use the quick-fix and upgrade it if you're not going to uber.

Sniper - Jarate. Jarate. Jarate. Upgrade the Jarate. Use your Huntsman, trust me, this really helps.

Spy - My favorite class, it's best to use the Dead Ringer. Sap then Stab, cloak then heal, then disguise, back to sap and stab. Stab single groups of robots such as snipers, lone heavies, and upgrade the sapper. It's your biggest asset. Always be disguised, upgrade movement speed, sapper, and crits/healing on backstab. Wait where the robots jump to the battlefield, let your team take out the small groups, and then when a big group comes, sap them. Sap, stab, cloak, heal, disguise, return. Remember, your sapper stuns not only just one robot but also stuns robots around the sapped robot, so use it against robots in groups.

Pyro is my favourite class for MvM. Crank up the damage and ammo capacity and you got a player which can deal with a lot of the classes as soon as they spawn into the arena. Axtinguisher is also good for cleaning up the bigger classes, as is getting crits from the canister.

Medic on Krtizkreig is massively helpful helpful as it cleans up everything if you are giving a pyro or heavy the criticals, just make sure to extend the uber duration as soon as humanly possible. Just keep your eyes up and hope you don't get in the sniper or soldier crossfire.

Engie is mega important, I agree. MvM gets mega hectic when the bomb is right at the end of the map and it's an endless amount of bots, that Lv3 and mini sentry goes a long way.

And I also got a Description tag as a random drop today, so that was cool. Decided to use it on my Positively Inhumane Big Earner, since it's my Spy Knife of choice. :D

I died on the first wave as I was playing on my own  They basically walked into my Sentry and destroyed it. I'll give it another shot when I return from my Holiday here in Eastern Europe and get back to a computer that runs it at more than 15 FPS.

Here's are my tips some tips based on getting achievements and doing good amounts of damage.

Scout Upgrade your Bonk! drink, use the sandman and get 7 baseballs and mark for death and just spam those balls and just collect money, this will make your team happy

Soldier Max clip size, reload speed and damage and use the beggar's bazooka

Pyro max airblast and damage, airblast the bomb down the mineshaft in coaltown.

Demoman - Scottish Resistance with max damage and fast reload speed is a fast way to take out bots and deal good damage to tank

Heavy - I use the brass beast(for extra damage) and i camp near a dispenser, have max fire speed and max ammo, when the tank comes pop krit and go nuts, 3 heavys doing the same can destroy the tank in less than 20seconds

Engineer -Just max firespeed, 2 way tele and wrench swing speeds and just whack like no tomorrow, my sentry goes throw all its minigun ammo in 6 seconds, use the frontier justice so you can take advantage of all those kills becoming krits

Medic - Krits medigun is the best with max overheal and max urber charge rate, get the canteen share too for uber or extra krits

Sniper - Jarate, Jarate then some more Jarate.

Spy - Just sap and collect money, if you can backstab the small bots DO NOT TRY TO BACKSTAB GIANTS IT WILL END BADLY.

I find it easy, but those major league scouts annoy me so much.

If you do back stab the giants, remember to have your Dead Ringer handy, I would know. ;) And the Big Earner is best knife as you got +30% to your Cloak, which is handy if you use the Dead Ringer like I do.

This bug is annoying but so funny.

Happpend top me 3 times.

Try out the Righteous Bison in MvM. Use it as your primary and upgrade it, rather than using a rocket launcher. Trust me, you won't be disappointed ;)

Also a good technique to try out if you have a demoman and kritz medic on your team. During the break between rounds, have the medic use his kritz on the demo, and have the demo lay down a sticky trap down were the bots arrive. Because it is setup, the medic's kritz will recharge instantly. Thus you'll be starting the round with a full charge as usual, but will also have a lethal crit sticky trap at your disposal as well. 8 crit stickies will do loads of damage to any giants or tanks that pass over them.

Jai, I saw your message on steam but steam mobile and t-mobile's "4g" isn't really working nicely:

I can trade one more, but i want to keep one for myself :3

Something amazing just happened to me: I won an Unusual Hat.

I entered a trading server ran by the RAWR Trade Club. Expecting to sell my Mint Paint, I arrived to see everyone playing a game of Spycrab. This a luck game and there can be only one winner. Believe it or not, on my first go I got into the last 2, before I crabbed and lost. We did this for quite some time and I never won any of the small prizes being handed out.

However, eventually, all good things come to an end. And the Admin summoned us upon the last round of Spycrab. Again, I got into the last 2. We didn't settle the final battle through this game. We took it to Heavy Boxing.

There I was, being paraded into the ring like a celebrity. There were 32 Players surrounding the ring and the Admin announced the prize. An Unusual Conquistador with Nuts & Bolts as an effect. At this point, I was shocked. I knew that I had the potential here to win something I've been working months to get.

The Admin told us to start round 1. I believe it was out of 3. I had my ass kicked in one punch in the first round. I knew I couldn't win. On round 2, I took him from behind and got a critical hit, the final round was among us. I ran back to the ring after getting some health and it started. My heart was beating too fast to count, it was extremely tense, a lot tenser than it should have been. I just went for it, without thinking about it. And, I won, I actually won! At this point, everyone was congratulating me and I was informed to pick up my prize, kindly donated to the Admin by a user called Cal.

Out of 34 Players, I was the one to take the prize. It felt amazing, I was swarmed with Players and was getting my picture taken with everyone else. The guy who lost congratulated me which I thought was very kind of him.

I'm proud to own an Unusual Hat. Especially after I was just scammed out of my white Bills Hat.

Thanks to the Admins and all the Players for this brilliant fate.

(Pics to follow)

:)

(Spycrabbing is about luck, I was lucky enough to get into the top 2, after that, it was all about the skill)

I wonder what Valve can up with for Christmas and Halloween this year. I just want a Festive Sentry :D And a Festive Sapper to kill the Festive Sentry.

Some pictures taken by the guy running the event. After winning the grand prize, I was ordered to have my picture taken

My current Scout set, cost me an absolute fortune.

Pink Ebenezer - 13 Keys

Pink Fast Learner - 6 Keys

Pink Essential Accessories - 8 Keys

I also have a full set of Festive weapons worth 27 Keys, made some very nice profit through trading over the past few weeks. I'm rather low on funds now though.

Nope.

Haven't done much trading except for getting a dirty infernal impaler and two strange weapons for a clean Pyro's beanie.

Monoculus is scary as hell :(

Speaking of which, Halloween is just around the corner and Valve have given us to October the 1st to submit items to the workshop. I imagine the Halloween update will be launched pretty soon, as it tends to be early October. Looking forward to it, Halloween is awesome! Anyone have any Haunted versions of last years Halloween stuff? If so, I'm very interested in buying.

Some people don't seem to learn that running straight into a level 3 sentry over and over again is never going to end well for them :P

So, I was camping upstairs on Harvest, the lights went out and this thing appeared. Had no idea I was on a Halloween map so it scared the 🤬 out of me

I'm pretty new to TF2, what servers do I need to look for to see stuff like that ghost?

Certain maps will have halloween and christmas stuff, they have the "_event" at the end of the map name when choosing a server.

Also, I want to get all of the Tin Soldier set for my MVM Loadout (Tin Soldier not-a-robot fighting real robots :sly:). Jai has a Haunted Steel Pipes, I claim them. Also, if anyone got a strange loch-n-load, I want that too.
