Welcome one and all, small and tall, to the only place for people who love Mini Coopers. We are a team dedicated to all things low in wheelbase, and the only place to have competition online in a Mini.

All aplications to be sent to me via PM, no real guidelines just a simple "I'd like to join team Mini" will do.

The team so far is:
Team Owner: Heero 12
Technical Director: Smallhorses
Drivers:
cpl_richie
DaveS1138
Sphinx
240Z
Oz.
sjaak68
Bondy_1625
Blake
flat-out
k2racer
Pit Crew:
radicool02
Cieling_Fan
300zxfairman

Please take your mindless dribble elsewhere, you are entitled to your opinion, but I however am not entitled to respect it. If something like this is posted here again I would take delight in reporting you to the Moderators, but seeing as you're new here I'll show some patience and welcome you to the family called GTP. Enjoy your time here, and you might just get some respect if you show some to others.

huhauhaua this is not a car, how you can like it

Listen, Assgobble. :dunce:
The Mini is a legendary beast.
It is subtlety in its finest form, and surely anyone with more braincells than fingers can see that.
Drive one.
I'm sure that you've never attempted it, you're probably one of those sad lonely individuals who believes buying an e-type Jaguar will endow you with James Bond/Austin Powers like manhood! (another car for the GT4 wishlist.)
Real men drive Coopers.
Let me guess, you're only dissing it 'cos your driving an F1 in the Clubman cup and its still whupping your arse!

Tell us what you drive and we'll have a laugh at you too, you Yugo/Skoda/Lada/Daewoo (*delete as applicable) driving muppet!

Attention all team members or people wishing to join, as mandatory from right now until I'm sure we won't be getting new members, you will need to take an entrance exam. It's nothing special, just one lap around Midfield in an out-of-the-box Mini, that means nothing done to it, no miles, no mods, no nothing.

Take one lap and ONLY one lap around Midfield, that means start a session in arcade mode free run and record the first lap time you get, no practice. PM your time to me when you are finished.

The rules are the same as the WRS, which are:
1. You must have 2 tires on the track at all times.
2. The rumble strips are considered part of the track.
3. No wall riding or touching.
4. No cutting the grass or short cutting.
5. No hybrids
6. No cheating of any kind.

This is being done only to see how well you can all handle the little thing, it is not a competition in any form, the slowest will be equal with the fastest.

Here are the times, will be edited as more come in:
Sphinx: Owns a Mini: Sphinx>all
Heero 12: 1'49.803
Smallhorses: 1'49.810
240Z: 1'53.056
Oz.: 1:49.410
sjaak68: 1'49.999
Bondy_1625: 1.49.242
Blake: 1'50.657
DaveS1138: 1'50.029
cpl_richie: 1:51.881
flat-out: 1'49.(three random numbers for all I care.)
k2racer: 1.50.732
300zxfairman: 1.52.156

Doesn't ANYONE want to join!?!?!? Come on people, give the Mini a chance! It really is a great car to drive :)

He brings up an interesting point, not everyone is religious towards the Mini. But I never did say it would be just the Mini did I? I'm still planning, but I'll get back to you all on tht one later, for now we just need more members.

I would also like to thank 240Z for joining us, his time wasn't "perfect", but he's welcome none the less.

Decision made. Insted of just running Mini Vs. Mini, we will compare the little beast to all of the other cars, seeing just how close we can get it. If anyone has any ideas as for cars that can run about even with the Mini, I'd be glad to hear them.

ill join you guys - for ****s and giggles.

always wanted a mini but the wife says she would feel too unsafe in one so an evo will have to do.

how do i get the car in the game?

ok i figured it out, ran and got 1:49.410 - cant believe i had to shift down to get up that final hill :)

upon realising your only supposed to join one team i must regretfully changfe my mind on joining team mini as evo's are my passion .

There is an edit button you know, it saves space. And there is no "one team only" rule, though it could get complicated if both of the teams you belong to race each other.

And I feel real sorry for you, Minis are really safe cars with superb handleing on and off the track.

Hmmm Mini's, don't you just love the little things lol. :)

Oh sorry, I thought there was a rule somewhere that said that anyone being in ownership of a real Mini is exempt from any type of membership trial :sly:

Edit: and I don't mean a BMW! :yuck:

You are hereby promoted to CEO of Real Racing and as such skip the registration process, if of course you can furnish a pic of your Mini with a sign on the windshield saying "I'm the CEO of Real Racing at Team Mini", do that and you skip the registration process, this goes for all members.
