Hi there radicool02 look forward to seeing you around here some more.
See you're listed as our 2nd pit crew member at the moment! Submit a laptime for the entrance test when you get a chance and we'll add you to the drivers list.

We're into double figures membership-wise now, so expect events soon!
In the meantime, lets have some more times submitted for the Alps Challenge of Rally (listed on the Team Mini website....click the link in my signature)

Please Note! The Entrance test DOESN'T require you to own a Sim mode Mini, you can use the arcade mode Mini in Class C arcade!!!!

Ideally for the Mini contests we'd like you all to have 2 Minis, one mint-condition, with no oil change, and 61HP for some contests.

Then another one, with varying levels of modification (we'll specify by event what mods will be required.

Minis can be won as a one-off for Lightweight K Cup in Beginner mode, and many times over by using save/reload trick after winning 4 of the 5 European Championship races in Amateur league.
 
I'll be able to do the entrance test next weekend when I'm at me dads house.

I've attacted a pic of my mini that was destroyed on that fateful day by an idiot in a 4x4 tank :(

Will do the entrance "test" soon. So can i join please?

That's a nice Mini 👍 looks like a mk1 cooper but with a touch of OZ added to it?
 
Thanks but alas, she was just an 1100 (but with a few little tweaks) later it got some white cooper stripes down the bonnet.

Nice car to drive

have to see if i can find a pic of the inside with wood grain dash.

edit: just did the lap of midfield time was 1:51.881

Well I do want everyone spending more time on the official forums, right now it literally is a ghost town. I might go so far as to close this thread and direct everyone to the forums. And how is having to browser windows open hard?
 
Meh, I'm just lazy. The official forums are great for keeping track of times and posting challenges, but for small talk, the thread's great.
 
Yeah but on the forums we don't get heat for spamming, because I am encourageing spam until we get some real activity ;)

There's already 2 months that we were discussing Mini times on Super Speedway, and I can see that you've already done some good work to promote this li'l bastard (Note : I know that 'little bastard' was a Porsche since it was James Dean's car, but I've always called my silver Ritz '86 Mini 'li'l bastard' and I'm not planning to change this). I'm back after a while away from GTP, and I'd like to join in...
I drove last week a lap on Midfield in 1'49, but I'll do another lap to get the exact figure and let you know. I didn't read all page in the thread, and I didn't look for other threads : in a few words, is there some race or cup open for Mini drivers ?
 
I just ran 6 laps on Midfield with a brand new 'Volcano' Mini. I took the arcade C-class Mini because mine is fully modded, and I didn't wanted to plug all the X-port stuff to get a new one from MK's program.
Best lap was : 1'47.543, I'll post a replay as soon as I have enough courage to plug the above mentioned stuff.
 
Sorry, I've just read carefully the whole rules, and I realized the time on Midfield had to be without practice. My very first lap (on a total of 6) had a time of 1:49.153, but I have no replay for that, I could only save the best lap, which was the sixth one.
Though, I took a look at Mini times on db.granturismo.de and I believe the top rankings should belong to the Mini team members, not to other people no matter how good drivers they can be.
 
Very good point flat-out. Everyone, starting now we are to aim for top times at pretty much all GT3 time sites you can find, we need to hold the gold with our Minis!
 
I did a olr with the arcade mini on laguna.My time 1'59.426. When i look in the granturismo.de database the fastest is 3 sec faster.AAHH
 
On db.granturismo.de I'm 0.6 away from top time on Super Speedway and 1.3 on Midfield. I have a Excel file with the times from this site, I'll add times from Racing Line and GT3 Times, and try to make a thread with them on our forum.
 
It appears the forum is down, and there is nothing I can do about it. Wait and see or complain to customer service now?

Cancel that, it's working.
 
If you can do one lap of midfield and PM me the time, you'll be a driver. If not prepare to work the jack. And by one lap I mean the first lap time you see after starting a free run at midfield in a bare stock Mini, no practice just one lap to see how inherently good you are.
