That lap of the 'ring is excellent! The Mini strolls past some of those cars like they're standing still! A couple of 3-series Beemers, a 911 and some MG Midgets!

Can't wait for GT4 so we can give it a try! That's going to be a rough track for Super-soft tyres though! 1/4 of a lap and you'll be ready for a pitstop!!!

Dude. Can't believe you wrecked a 1275GT! I always wanted one of those with the KAT bodykit. They look seriously mean.

yeah it's always nice to watch that mini do the business 👍 👍 Btw, did you know that Mini is a Mini van!!! or least I've been lead to believe it is, I'll check it out.

It was a sad day when I parked the 1275gt into a wall. See where the door frame buckles away from the roof piller on the drivers side? That's where my head ended up, right through the visable small gap, but how I managed to end up there is anyone's guess, all I remember is cutting the back of my ears to get my head out :yuck:

Hello,I'm no mini-freak,just like to drive them in GT3.So I cant talk about the realthing.Are there some plans for the team im progress?is team-mini going to challenge other teams.I have no experiences with teams so can you help me with that.

Take a look at the first page of this thread for the entrance test and PM your result to Heero 12. We need a few more members to get things off the ground, then we'll start a weekly or monthly Mini themed race event.

Look forward to seeing you here some more....
 
Sorry i cant play GT3 im in a summer camp across the country w/o my ps2. So i cant do the test.

No worries mate, we'll still be here when you get back in front of your PS2.
Do the test then and PM your time to Heero 12.

and give it a go sounds like a right blast! and i might well join this club/team! i guess ill have to run a lap at midfield in my stock mini then! :D
i think ill win one from the mini races first though as they generally come with a little more power! ;)

Get a laptime submitted, use the standard 61HP arcade mode Mini for midfield raceway and PM the time to Heero 12 so he can add you to the list!
Also if you wouldn't mind adding a link to Team Mini that's as eyecatching as possible we'd appreciate that too!

yay i think ill probably just do exactly as you have with link and all but i gotta get that lap done first :)

w00t! i did that lap and got 1.49.242! not bad for a first lap! bet i could improve on it but hell rules are rules! :)

Don't feel bad, would you rather have everyone tied for first? I think that's a little impossible. You ran a good time, so be proud of that and get practising!
 
@240Z... don't worry about that entrance test, in a car unfamiliar to you on just 1 out of the box lap that's pretty good going! Especially as its probably a little slower than most of the things you've been driving recently. I know I braked much too soon for a few of the bends in Midfield purely 'cos the last thing I raced there before the Mini was the F686/M and its ever so slightly quicker than the Mini!!!
Try out the Swiss Alps challenge that's posted in the Team Mini website hosted by Heero 12, this time you'll have the benefit of being able to go a couple of laps and improve on your ghost each time.

@ Heero 12. Congrats mate, I notice you've just become a Bronze Member on GTP!
 
I might join. I've only just got a Logitehc Driving Force and I'm not used to that so my lap might be a bit slow. Anyway sounds like a lot of fun.

Just noticed! I've been bronze since 600, guess no one looks at my title. Blake is now a part of the team as well, his time and name are now being added to the roster.

@ Heero 12 You're only at 654 now, and I posted that 2 days ago! Its only been this week that it clocked over, right? Or am I really that ignorant?

Feel free to add a link to us here or the Team Mini website to your signature! No prizes given, but we love to see who can make the flashiest ones! Visit the website and have a crack at the Swiss Alps rally challenge set by Heero 12. Aslo if you know anyone else down-under there that might want to join, point them our way!

Well I've directed Radicool02 here! I have the link to the site in my sig but I'm keeping with my theme and not making it flashy. I'll have a go at the Swiis Alps rally challenge, but just one th9ing, can you add an oilchange to it? Just that I don't want to win another mini just cause I've put an oilchange in mine.

Thanks to smallhorses pointing out that I dont actually need a mini of my own to pass the exam I would love to join.

Tried the test but I messed up a little. Started my lap as an automatic (I know...I know.... sacralidge) Didn't realize the final hill was going to kill me. Got a time of 1'50.029 But then ran in manual and got 1'49.677 But then that's not excatly my first lap is it :(

I'll leave it up to your good selves to decide if I am good enough to be in. For now I'll just go off and win a stock mini incase you do :)
