i just wanted to say that i personally have a deep appreciation for minis cause im from england so u see them everywhere and my friends family used to build custom minis. they would buy a skeleton frame from rover motor company at the time.

also they made minis for famous people i cant remember all of them but they built one for alan de cadanet and the lead singer from dire straits i think that how u spell it.

also if uve seen that top gear special they did on the mclaren f1 tiff took the F1 around good wood race track which my friend and i used to go there on weekends with his family and fleet of minis they had to road versions all modified and also a racing mini plus a mini miglier i also think thats how u spell it it was like the italian job driving there early in the morning it would take us like 2 hrs to get there but we had fun driving through the country side and talking from personal experience the mini in gt3 is alot like the ones my friends had especially with all the horse power and it also sounds alot like it to.

personally i would pay to have a modified mini from england sent to me in the states in stead of hainga a brand new car from here just cause there so much fun to drive even being a passenger while im getting driven around good wood by my friends father who used to test drive for lotus so he realy knows how to drive.

just thought id give u some insights on my affiliation with the legendary mini cooper which by the way won the monte carlo rally.
 
I'm back, don't know for how long though. If anyone wants to take over the "Owner" office is free. Though you'll ned my approval :D
 
Welcome back Heero, nice to hear from you again.

I'll say again what I've already said a few times (to you, Heero and to Smallhorses) :

- we are not big enough and we do not have enough activity to live as a stand-alone team.
- we cannot ask our team members to be interested in all Mini events or to race on a regular and consistent basis.
- we cannot afford re-creating a team forum from the scratch every other month when the current (free hosted) forum crashes down.
- Heero's teenager spamming frenzy has calmed down (no offence meant mate, I just write what I truly and honestly think, and I'm sorry if it sounds unpleasant or brutal, I'm no english native speaker and I hardly perceive the intensity level of what I write)

Thus :

- we should stay within some more organized structure like GTPlanet
- we should organize within this structure events on a regular basis (short race series ; spot races ; hot laps records...)
- members should not feel compelled to race consistently (WRS is a good example on that point : you can stay away for months Kent and all racers will always welcome you back)

I think these are the keys to truly exist as a team and not as the ghost we are today.
I'm ready, if other members agree, to organize on GTP a monthly event on behalf of the Team Mini (like the sport Mini championship Smallhorses once started) and to keep up-to-date an Arcade and fully-modded Mini fastest times leaderboard on a special thread here, as I do now for the WRS's dynamic stats and as I did in the past on our first and second forums. And I hope Smallhorses would join me in this.

If somebody listens to me, please give your opinion.

I don't think you understand. I'm giving up on all Gran Turismo. I realize now the game is quite possibly the worst I've ever played. And as such I'm just letting you know I won't ever be back here. Nothing against GTP, and nothing against all you you, everything against the most frustrating game ever created.

I hear what you're saying flat-out, and when GT4 is in my hands I'll be more thn happy to join in with events once more. I thought this team had just fallen to the depths of hell, but if there is still life left in some of the members I'll join in on any GT4 races 👍

GT4... GT4... don't know what it is (yet) :grumpy:
Hopefully on March 9th, unless I decide to postpone my purchase as a response to Pd postponing the game again ang again. ;)
I'll PM Smallhorses to try and set something up together on GT3 for the moment. Stay around and you'll hear about GT4 events in a few weeks/months.
 
Ok will do, but if you come up with something really interesting for GT3 I may dust off the disk ;)

After some PMs, here is the situation :
Heero12, Team Mini founder has annouced his retirement, and Smallhorses, Team Mini technical director is way too busy to spend enough time for the project.
Then I'll ask Jordan to close this thread, and I'll create a new project that I will upload in the Teams Forum in the beginning of next week.
 
Sorry to hear your quitting GT3 Heero 12. :( GT3 the worst game ever? :confused: Not sure I'd agree with that!
Thanks for all the great work you put in on behalf of Team Mini, and know that whenever you get a Mini urge, we'll be here in some form or another to race with. ;)

Sorry, I was horridly depressed and outlandish-ly angered when I made that last post. But since I was never around anyway I thought I'd just let you guys know you'll need to do something to continue, which you did. I may be back, so leave a chair open for me eh?

There will always be a spot for your Mini on the starting grid. As will be for anyone else.
