I'm pretty much screwed if my collection gets erased some how. I got my main collection on a desktop ext. hd and a good portion of that on another laptop ext. hd but I already lost some music when I was transfering music between the two. I guess I could get some of it from my friend too.
 
I have two hard drives. A 80 GB for Windows only and a 40 GB drive partitioned into two. I keep all my mp3 files on the second partition. I'll never lose any of my mp3 files, unless the drive physically dies.

👍 good for you. With my sister, I get a new virus on this rig every 15 minutes...that's with her settings at the absolute minimum level of access I can give her. I'm going to block off msn on tuesday and tell her she ****ed it up. She never stops using it as is and it's pissing me off that she's screwing up my rig by accepting crap from people she barely knows
 
I'm glad my sister isn't like that. Reminds me of that Cisco Network commercial where the boss's daughter downloads a 'cool new game' and the magical Cisco Network swats it down before any damage could be done.

Maybe you should explain to her why it's bad to download and run executables from users you do not know. Tell her why the Internet isn't a playground.

She's turning 16 - she doesn't listen to a damn word I say. I'm just going to either delete or block off any app I don't like her using - **** talking...talking hasn't helped in the past 3 years.

Anyhoo, Trancemaster 4000 - greatest trance album EVER. 2 cds of pure Aural Sex
 
is it anywhere near to the quaity of In Search of Sunrise? Only reason I'm asking is because the rest of his stuff I've heard was utter crap in comparison.
 
cant compare it. ISOS is a mix series (new one comming out in may/june i think). this one is an artst album, kinda like ferry corsten's Right of Way. Has the same vibes as In my Memory did. some of its ok, but im not a huge fan of his, except for some remixes and ISOS of course!
 
Has anyone heard the Boogie Pimps - Somebody to Love single? If this isn't the jam for the summer, I don't know what is. 👍
 
Hey all, I've once again changed my mood of music from Rock/metal to Electronica. I'm looking for music like The Crystal Method and Prodigy, maybe something like Chemical Bro. or Fatboy slim too. I'm looking for fast pace or fast beats but not in a technoish way. Got any recommendations??

Bah, I'm sick of fatboy slim. I've got a feeling that LTJ Bukem may be close to what you like. He's more drum and bass but he's got a lot of awesome stuff. Also, look into some of the Hardtrance that's floating around. In particular, my favourites are all the albums in the Hardbass series

I've had this for ages, I'm sure I mentioned it here before, but I can't stress this enough. Trancemaster 4000 = 2 cds of pure aural sex. I've let the 2 cds play nonstop for a full day and didn't get tired - I usually get tired by the 2th listen through. REALLY worth getting. If I can find it in a local store, I'm most definately going to buy it.
 
Lost Language Exihibition and Marjus Schulz Coldharbour sessions, both 2cd are really good but kinda mellow. If thats your fancy, check them out.

I'll suggest anything and everything from Global Underground and Renaissance Worldwide. I rarely ever say this but these sets almost always show the true essence of trance and in some cases, acid jazz 👍. Highly reccomended.
 
I just got back from a trip to Washington D.C. for my sis'. While there, I got to go to Tower Records, the infamous store that houses just about every artist in existance.

I purchased 5 CD/CD sets, and am quite pleased with my purchases, especially since I was unaware of some newer releses. I will be ripping them soon to Lame VBR's and when the Toyo-Dtop is finished, there will be hosting available for FTP server-age. :D

Picked up DJ Icey - For The Love of the Beat/The Funky Breaks and Junkie XL - Radio JXL a broadcast from the computer hell cabin.

The DJ Icey cd's are great. I havn't listend to the whole JXL cd though.

He's awesome. I recommend downloading Voices of Autumn 2003, although I'm sure all off his sets are awesome. 👍
