Yea, I started suspecting when I was getting perfects on ultra hard with him.

He always does the same thing..
 
Jinpachi is the cheapest boss ever second only to Rugal in KOF.

I liked the first one too. 👍 It was pretty good back then with the technology they had. Mortal Kombat: Annihilation was the horrible one. :yuck:

The picture quality in annihilation was simply downgraded version of the original. :grumpy: I didn't like the new cast either and how they acted. :indiff:

Don't bother getting it! Its not worth spending money to even rent it for a DAY! :yuck: Maybe unless you really have nothing to do for like 2 hours, then maybe you should try it. :lol:

There cast looks good to me since they are using asian people to play as asian characters! :O I like how its Takeshi Kaneshiro as Jin Kazama already! :O

Is there a higher grade than 1st Dan?? i got to first Dan with Jin and after 14 arcade fights in a row he didnt move up so i tried with Raven. I did 9 fights with him and he too wouldnt go higher than first dan. Is that it or am i not doing something right??
 
You have to fight classes similar to your current belt. I'm Master right now with Jin :D

Kaneshiro Takeshi. The actor used in Onimusha 1 and 3, yes? Could be good. Could be crud. Hopefully it'll work out. It's just that too many films based on games tend to be rather poor. Trying to think of a good one.........err..

I haven't been playing the Arcade mode for a while, but I think you have to be fighting Dans that are higher than you. After 1st Dan should be 2nd Dan and so on. Sometimes it does take a while until you really do get a promotion chance though. :O

Kaneshiro Takeshi is a handsome man to me and I would actually go watch this movie just to see him in action! :O 👍

I do have a feeling it could flop since the director is the guy who directed Mr. 3000. :indiff:

I wish game adaptations can be as good as Peter Jackson doing Halo!:O 👍
 
Well, we assume the Halo movie will be good. Or it could be another "Doom" movie. Probably not though. Still, if Peter Jacksons production crew etc are involved then it could certainly be good. At least it may look good. The visuals should at least match the Star Wars pre-quels. Will the Covenant be all CG or men in suits?
As for the Tekken movie I can't see it being too similar to the games. No way can they make actors look as muscular as their game counterparts. The film isn't all CG is it?
Isn't there a film of Dead or Alive in the works too?

As for the Halo movie, I see a big profit gain from it right now. He did a wonderful job in Lord of the Rings and I expect him to do the same thing. Intense action, emotional scenes, and beautiful music to make each scene flow with emotion! :O

I am not sure right now about how the Tekken movie may end up. I think it would be better to hand it over to an experience director who have filmed martial arts movie many times. :O
 
Don't forget Peter Jackson is a Producer rather than the Director link . I don't think a Director has been chosen yet. But I am hoping that the Halo movie will have the same production value as the LOTR trilogy. I can't see the Tekken movie having much of a budget, unless some major Japanese or Hong Kong film company is involved. It could do well in Japan.
 
You mean Devon Aoki? She was in Sin City and will be in Sin City 2 according to IMDB.
There's not exactly a lot of choice for Oriental Actresses in Hollywood, is there? I guess they could rope more in from Japan, Hong Kong and Korea.

And it always strikes me as a typical Hollywood ploy to bring out two films that will be very similar, at least in some respects. Oh well, Hollywood trying to cash in on a famous name. No surprise there.
