Now that I've been to the Gateway Arch in Saint Louis, that first post has more meaning to me. The Arch is OMFG big.

Anyone got anymore cool things to look at from above?

I had no trouble finding my apartment, but I'm trying to find the hollywood sign. That's a toughie because you probably can't see it very well at all from above.

Groovy (: I think it's interesting how old some of the pictures are. The color pictures are by far better - usually higher resolution as well.

I just nosed around in the area and couldn't find anything, so I searched google for better location help and still can't find it on the terra server. I think you're right about it being from the top and not seeing anything. Perhaps you should try something different (:

Crap. So is this like "your turn, newch" or something? I've got to come up with a good one now.

The "gotcha" was me talking to the sign. That bastard was hard to find.

Man, I though I lived in suburbia...but wow. I could never stand living in a "neighborhood" like that.

Well, it seems like your negborhood has all the features that I dislike about where I live, but more extreme. The houses are closer together, there are no yards, the streets are all parallel...like the stereotypical '50s American family...I detest all these things. Don't get me wrong, there are many bebfits of living in a close community where you know your neighbors and can play safely with neighboring kids...have good fun and whatever...just none of these things appeal to me. I'm not putting down where you live, I just wouldn't like to live there myself. I need to s p r e a d o u t.

That's what is misleading about the picture. I actually have a huge backyard, as do many of my neighbors. If you look at the pin, where it's located is only 5 houses up. Though I also share some of the same tatses as you. I kinda wish that I lived in a bigger house with a bigger yard, but not enough to make me want to move. For the most part, it's nice living where I live. I'm right next to two major parks and all of my friends are at most a 5 minute drive.

I found a couple of things -

My House -
http://img3.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img3&image=MyHouse.jpg

My Subdivision (We are right on the edge of town and the county. The white road to the left of the subdivision is the county line. My subdivision is only the white horseshoe.) -

My School (We have a track, football stadium, 4 baseball diamonds, and a gym farther down on the map. We also have one more parking lot.) -

Pictures of the House, Subdivision, and School were taken March 13, 2000. Our house was completed in 1999. There is now a house next to us on the corner lot. We have 80 lots in our subdivision and we are still spaced out a lot, as you can see from the houses that are already in place.

Lambeau Field (Home of the Green Bay Packers) -

Baseball Stadiums - Brewers (Old Picture, Old Stadium - Milwaukee County Stadium is the full stadium, and Miller Park, the stadium we have now is being built.) -

Milwaukee Mile and Wisconsin State Fair Grounds (Milwaukee Mile and to the Left of the track is Wisconsin State Fair Park.) -
