That is one big freaking airport. Lots of little planes in that picture, along with two or three GINORMOUS ones.

My school.

Most of it is. But the buildings are classrooms. The parking lot right below the pic is another school.

Daaaaaamn, that's huge.Just think that around 200 people fit into that one little plane. It's mind boggling.

Sweet! That's one of the more recent pictures I've seen on Terraserver. Good find (:

I would still really like to find this kind of thing in the UK. Does anybody know of one?

Ooooh! Heathrow!

Is there anything like this for Europe or Canada? or even Australia but I doubt it

My house!!! Well, where it'll be in 7 years. The pic was taken in 1997. Further proof that no one cares about ND.:sly:

People seem to like posting stadiums;
I don't know what this one is, it's in LA somewhere and I don't think anyone's posted it yet.

Yeah, I've noticed the stadium popularity as well. That one is cool - I like the big trees and curved walk ways.

That one is Dodger Stadium. I can tell because of the blue "zig-zag" roof covering the backs of the bleachers and the empty space to straight-away center.
The batter should see some hills in the background; and if we make the picture large enough and zoom out enough, you can see hills beyond the center field gap. Cool stadium. I haven't been there in person yet; just in "High Heat" and other digitized baseball games :D

Home sweet Home

My house is about in the center of the pic. I've never seen the top of my house before. I wish i could get in closer.

Try getting out a ladder (:

Alright, here's a different approach. I found this image of an interesting bit of track at Union Station in Chicago and decided to go see if it still looked like that (because the picture I found appeared to be old). So over at our friend Terraserver I found this cool image from 2002. I've actually been to that Union Station so it's kinda neat to me (:

So the new game here is to locate the arial view of something you already have a picture of.

Home of the Big Mac (:
Yes. Not to be confused with the heart attack laced burger.

I guess it could also be called a Power Mac. Although much much more powerful than Sage's.

edit:
Its housed in the rectangular building in the middle of here.

I've got a mini-cluster. Actually they're not clustered at all, just ten workstations. One of them has a dead processor and I need to take it to the shop today.

Hey, someone find Apple's campus on the Terra Server.

Nice. Now imagine building one 275 times larger :) and insanely more powerful :dopey:.

edit:

Apple's uh .. 'campus'. There's nothing there hardly. 1 Infinite Loop. What a street address.
