Lucky you, my game is crashing all the time on PS5 pro, performance is poor, even worst than S4
The game is a good suprise now for 20 bucks sure, still not up to the expectaton and price on lauch day
I am enjoying it, mainly for the cruising around and looking around at the HK map which you don't see in many games, off road feels quite good and the noise realistic on the gravel. Also the car interiors especially the ambient lighting inside the cockpit. All the dials etc and textures are very good and feel quite realistic and remind me of the original TDU.

I wouldn't mind this set up they have used on the PS5 controller on all games, it seems to suit my driving style and feels very good even on tight turns and stable on fast roads. Only negatives really for me so far are the online only as I don't like this when they fix server or the internet isn't good, and all the talking and cut scenes which I skip to get back on the road :)

Finally buckled and gave this a chance again after a horrible early demo experience... Its not too bad for £15 gold edition think I will get a month out of it... Cant help but think it could have been so much more, but what there is was reasonable for the price I paid. Doesn't exactly feel like a PS5 game graphically, gameplay with the right vehicle is none irritating if a bit basic. The crew wipes the floor with it, it does have its own identity at least... shame this might be the last in the series.

I launch it time to time toes how it has change, yes it's better in some area, but it's really off on several area, gameplay is weird with a strange FOV effect and physic feel wonky, global the game feel lifeless and generic, the vibe isn't there
I do agree the TDU sequel deserve a better game
I agree with you, it makes me really appreciate Motorfest all the more when I boot this up or Forza too. Gameplay with compelling nuance is so rare on the arcade side of driving... I think after exploring the map I will quickly tire of this game, racing is very meh... Im not expecting sophy 3.0 power pack, but eww lol.

How does this game feel on a wheel?

I have a real craving for a somewhat realistic feeling open world driving game on my PS5 Pro. Forza Horizon and The Crew just really aren't made for wheel users. The best thing I have found is using stock old drift cars in the The Crew 2, but I would love to find something better.

My experience is not great with this game, a lot of rumble but no real FFB, so far my experience is way better on TCM or FH5 once you have set your wheel properly
That's a shame.

I've tried The Crew Motorsport demo and I couldn't get a FFB setting that felt good on my G29. Either too heavy or too weak.
