It's like they never try this update on console
I'm pissed

Edit : haptic feedback on dual sense in broken as well and now the game is crashing just after the launch screen...

Yes, their biggest update ever, I can tell

Oh and the Solar Pass shows as being 90 days... which makes total sense in a 5 MONTH season... 🙄

On, the PC folks with the AMD 9070 cannot even start the game. I think this was actually a KT Engine DOWNGRADE.

If you can't see it to select it, pause menu, go to the bottom and look real close to make sure you're on the left of six icons (it says Options, but you won't be able to read it; find Map and go left three times), then R1 four times, down once, and X.

Incredible.
 
I've had enough. It's uninstalled and won't be back on my Series S until at least Season 5 Update 1.
 
Oh dear, I was kind of looking forward to see how they'd improved the game. However, I see it's actually got....worse?? Lord Almighty 🫩

Yes, somehow, they manadge to make it worse, but le launch trailer for S5 is great, maybe they have to stick to trailer only ^^
 
Bought gold edition on sale still haven’t tried to log in. I tried ps5 and couldn’t sign in even though had account for years and reset password. Anywhere to contact Nacon support or anyone have an idea, I do want to try it

I think they have server issues, you rather wait for the next patch
 
So, just out of curiosity, how do you obtain the Vantage GT3 and the P72? By reaching level 50 I assume...? Guessing that these cars will come to the dealerships in a few months?

OK, so only level 15 is required for the DeTomaso. Good to know because I find it far more interesting than the Aston.

And the Solar Pass. The only car you can get without buying the Solar Pass is the level 50 Vantage GT3.

Of course, many people are reporting on reddit that the VIP pass from the Gold Edition doesn't work for this. And some people have PAID for diamonds including the 20 level unlock and the unlocks aren't working for them, most notably the "special edition" car unlocked at level 1 isn't in their garage. But apparently it might be available if you change cars using the function outside of dealerships/workshops etc.

So, they can't even get the microtransactions to function reliably...
 
I've done myself a early Christmas present, I've uninstalled this crap and I never go back again
Too much time lost for nothing
And I also never again buy a game from nacon

I did not turn on the resolution of 3840x2160. Crash. Turned off full screen mode, selected 2K rebooted and then 4K worked.
Graphics parameter "Reflections" - kills fps by 2 times if set equal to above Medium.

I bet their Hotfix will come with even more bugs and glitches lol, would come at exactly zero surprise at this point.
 
This game is nothing but disapointement, waiting, promises they can't keep, bugs and disapointement again and repeat
I don't understand why they have a release this update in this state ?
And I have 0 confidence in the devs to fix the game on console

Biggest joke is the game labeled optimised for PS5 pro, there is absolutely 0 difference with base PS5
 
I picked up the Gold edition on PS5 in the sale while browsing through all the offers. My expectations were very low reading this thread and I was ready to uninstall but I have been looking for a few casual games to try out for a change from GT7/Forza. Having never played the game it has exceeded my expectations in the first few hours and worked well for me but I don't use HDR on my tv a have always found that messed with colours.

The online only says PS+ required which I don't have but was looking to purchase for PMR etc in the future but I can confirm it does work without it to playthrough the story line just online connection with the game AI etc which was great news. I already had a Nacon account from ages ago but that might put a few off.

The audio engine sounds and feel of the car handling on controller in cockpit view surprised me especially with the haptic feedback, the cars drove really nice and felt solid out the box and I really enjoyed the short races so far. Once I get to level 12 I will unlock some bonus cars so that should help but I like the Nissan and little Fiat 500 so far.

The graphics and map of the Island is much better than I thought, I have only tried the main Island so far and it all feels very stable (at the moment with no crashes) when you play it, with nice lighting especially at dusk and dawn, rain effects and night time no slowdown and very smooth with good textures on the cars and interiors. I really like the layout of the twisty mountain roads and off road sections with a semi-realism look it feels much more mature and a grown up Forza Horizon.

I certainly will get my moneys worth and at least play the story and cruise the Island, so at this price I am happy. I understand most here will have been on since launch so I can feel the frustrations but as someone coming in blind I actually prefer it to Horizon5 map.

Photo mode needs shutter speed but I believe the devs maybe working on this as a future patch? But for still photos it is quite good.

p.s I also picked up CarX Street and that seems like fun too when I am in the mood for some tuner cars as the handling on those are much more drifty but well worth £12 too and again impressed with this game and map.
