hey nice time jimeez ! this little challenge has been going for a couple of months now and you the 1st to beat my time ;) dont get too comfy there man ! coz i'm taking it back when i get home from work in the morning :eek: great driving all the same mate :) i'll be back !! :D

And as for Mr P slaughtering everyones times, from what i've seen he's the best around here and he seems to enjoy showing us all how it's done . I use his times as a target and never seem to get anywhere near them! That 1'07.3.. is one hell of a quick time you got there Mr Persistance! :eek: :eek:

Rypien Just got a lucky lap in. ;) I was down in the 7.3's last night and was just getting into a good rythm when I got called to work didn't get back to it. :( Maybe tonight :)

I Force what the heck you doing here, trying to steal a win or something ;) welcome :D have fun :D and be easy on this old man ;)
 
Could not resist the call of the Denso ghost on my memory card. Spent 24 laps looking at its exhaustpipes until i finally managed to get ahead -

1'07.702

Have got the game paused as i sit here typing and i hope to give it a few more laps before sleep finally overcomes me :eek:

I'll be trying to catch you jimeez .............. but i don't think that i'll be doing it tonight (if at all :P )

ok guys had to run some more in the castrol and i barely got my 1st place back but it'll do for now :D keep em coming guys coz i'm pushing on both cars for a 1.06 ... ;) :cool: my time is 1.07.248
 
:eek: :eek: All these times getting quicker made me go back to it and see if i could improve ; well i did but still not quite in the 1'07's yet but nearly :D I got a 1'08.066 in the castrol, will update times later . :)

I have now got into the 1'07 's after 39 laps! :eek: and moved up 2 places to 4th so i'm pleased with that for now . Gonna try out the denso again tomorrow :)

That just may be my swan song on this one. I don't think I can do any better. 1:06 is not in the cards for me :( there isn't another .2 out there for me to shave off.

try racing the denso ghost against the castrol ghost and vice versa ;) this is what i have been doing and it works a treat feels like a race and not a free run :D

ok guys new time for the castrol 1.07.056 :eek: and new time for the denso 1.07.053 :eek: :eek: i'm gonna get a 1.06 for sure ! but which car is gonna get there 1st :D :cool:
 
Don't think my thumbs can steer the DENSO into the low 1'07.xxx's. I'll probably have a few more laps tommorrow, but it will take a bit of amiricle for me to improve and more than a few tenths i think.

Thanks Mr P for branching this challenge over to gt3 times for me , i've updated the leaderboard to the same as you have posted there :) new leaderboard on page 5 .
 
I did a few laps in the TOM's they were mostly 9-ish some of them 8-ish I already beat my last record but I'll guess I'll wait with submitting my times untill I at least dive into some very low 8's or maybe high 7's (i don't thing that's gonna happen though..ever :) ).

I'll take the Denso for a spin later although I'm quite satisfied with my Denso time already so...

ok lotus i thought i should bring more people into this challenge as it really is class ;) so i posted it over at gt3 times and already we have a new 2nd place who is screaming hard on my heels O.Z a class racer has pulled of in his 1st few hours at it a stunning 1.07.1.. i'm putting a link here for the board over there and you can update the times here accordingly , o.z can visit here but cant post because of his server :( so please keep visiting gt3 times for new podium members ;) thanx mate cya :) :cool:

This challenge seems to be getting quite big :eek: Looks like we have challengers from 3 different boards taking part thanks to Mr P :cool: One thing i have noticed about this challenge is the pressure on your thumb tips ouch! After 11 laps, I managed a time of 1'07.271 with the Denso. Haven't tried out the Castrol yet. I'm coming guys!!

Quick tip ...... its probably easier on everyone if you have a leader board on the first page and just update it rather than having to post a new one every few posts ;)
 
Yeah i realized this just after posting the last one (sorry) :( i never expected the thread to be this big and have so many people taking part :eek:

This is turning into a very popular challenge!! A Few BIG GUNS from other forums have dropped by and posted some times to which is good to see.
Thought I better have a go myself as I haven't competed in any races for a while. Been to caught up playing WRC and Return to Castle Wolf. (Superb) :cool:

I'm definitely out of practise as my times show, but give me a couple of days and hopefully some of previous form will have returned ;)
