I have to admit, though. All these updates/matinence going on and kaz hinting at new content this month.

Part of me wants to believe that we'll be seeing some new stuff.

If PD didnt announce they were going to TGS why would you expect them to announce something at TGS ?
I dont expect anything because they didnt say anything about TGS.
If they do then I would expect something

Agreed, but I seriously doubt they will show or announce something.

I think they're going to announce their first DLC pack, "1980's era Skylines". Everyone wants it.

... not sure if it was notice and/or mentioned, but one of the updates scheduled by PD is during the TSG. They have stated that they have some "big" plans, urm, planned. Well, let's just see what happens.

I hope they show some trailer about the DLC

My expectations are very low or null ... I hope to be wrong.

What if PD made tourist trophy and GT combined? That would be awesome bikes and cars on the track at the same time.

I wasn't that impressed with PGR4.
Like water and oil, they shouldn't be mixed.

There are supposed to be PS vita titles announced tomorrow. Fingers crossed that none are GT related.

I really don't know what to expect...like, really, no GT for a new PlayStation? That's like no Mario for a new Nintendo thingy, I don't know...

I'm only being selfish for the better off console support.

IMHO PD are understaffed. ( please no arguments on this, just my opinion ).
Rather them use there limited support towards consoles.

Has GT really become the new Mario in that regard. 3 consoles and 1 handheld to my knowledge.

Plenty of other stuff to promote vita anyhow. Uncharted, Kratos, sackboy stuff like that.

It will be the unveiling of the new C-Spec series. Where you are a "Spectator". And if you cheer loud enough by hitting the "Cheer louder button" you can encourage a driver to win. Like all spectators, they can't hear you, so it really has no effect on the race. You are just competing against other fake spectators. The endurance series consists of Nurburgring 24 hour course, and you can't move, you just stand in one spot and wait. If you cheer too much he will get worn out, and if you drink too much beer, he will fall down, causing your time to be hindered. You have to tell your spectator what to do for 24 hours, or he will fall asleep and your spectator will lose. The prize is a coveted GT5 edition Skyline.

Thanks, I forgot to mention D-Spec. You play the car engine. You have to rotate the DS3 joysticks and press all the buttons in sequence or you will stall. You can't see the race track, or hear it. It's just a blank screen with engine noise. It's an engine simulator. And the controller vibrates when you mess up, and blows up when you fail. The 24 hr endurance track is Spa, but you can't race it in or see it in A, B, or C-spec. You can only do D-spec at Spa. The prize is the rare Horn # 9,122,657.

(Okay, done clowning, that was just too fun.)

lmfao Maybe we will get lincence plate brackets next.

Not big on thread hi-jacking threads but

I think you'll find a lot of people, like me, prefer driving these cars over le mans and super cars.

I find much more satisfaction driving road cars on the limit than driving purpose race cars.

Also online is better when everyone is in a road car and not just smashing it in the lead for all the race

agree with you, i like to race stock road cars, it's really fun. especially using wheels. controller just feels like arcade. Using wheels, you will feel like it's a brand new game

Sad panda ):

so tgs is today....well technically the first day was yesterday but I haven't seen any new info or anything.

I think it's fair to assume that PD will have nothing at TGS

Not to say that it was not expected though.

The TGS will be open to the general public on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18. GT5-related news might be revealed there.

I'm hopeful but cautious, that way nobody can flame me! :sly:

now thats a realistic expectation to have of PD at this point.

Sadly nothing this TGS if there was something we would have known by now. But surely they are doing something behind closed doors. Hopefully next year they will let us know

I think they will announce details of that upcoming "big" update.

Anyone heard something?

Too bad... is gt5 already dead?

^Its not dead, millions of people bought it. Though 3 people I know that bought it don't play it anymore.:boggled:
