Even unfinished, rushed and with a garbled concept, it's still the most INCREDIBLE racing experience I've ever had, like a PC racer that has fantastic graphics and is fun!

Indeed sir. GT5 is the first game in the series that I have played for 12 months consistently. Only GT4 kept me hooked in for two years total, but never did I play the game longer than 6 months straight.

You know, this morning my wife saw the Christmas card from PDI pop up as a booted GT5 up to try the new seasonal out. She mentioned how thoughtful and sincere it was of PD to do that in a video game.

She is right.

Merry Christmas PDI.:)

Agreed, thanks Kaz, one for excepting everyone's criticism and suggestions to make the GT experience even better, and thanks for the continued support and updates, now go raid the EA headquarters and get the Porsche license! :p Merry Christmas Kaz and the PD team, oh and my fellow GTP members!

I would like to thank Kaz for the update and the DLC, and I realized no matter what they give us, there will always be some complaining and whining. They gave us the new Golf and we complained oooh it's 10 hp less, it's right hand drive.
What next? If they give us the Aventador there would be another complain, my Aventador has the cup holder wrong! my Aventador doesn't have satnav!

Merry Christmas fellow GTP members!

And what developer's racer should we try? Or do you mean Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh? ;)

I'm kind of the other way. I played GT4 for just about 14 months straight, with a few breaks when Forza 2 and Devil May Cry 3, NHL Hits Pro and a few other games wandered into my hands. But when Prologue came out, I raced the heck out of that for about four months solid, though it just didn't have enough content to keep me engaged past that. My PC sims I got into for a couple of months were just too stale and uninvolving. So what did I go back to? GT4, for another 18 months while I waited on GT5. :D

We all have our fave games and all, but Gran Turismo has some kind of magical essence that has millions of fans hanging around for more, more millions than most other game series.

Happy Christmas Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital. May the new year fulfil the potential promised. Thank you.

Happy Christmas GTPlanet!

It really was a great update and I'm quite happy with the DLC. Next year, the sensible and appreciative members of GTP should actually send physical Christmas cards to PD because Kaz is just a complete boss.

I made this to thank Kaz and wish him and the PD team a Merry Christmas, as well as all of us here at GT Planet!
