That one corner you just can't get right.

Well, there are a few turn that I miss all the time.
Turn 2 at Laguna Seca, just before the Dunlop Bridge.
At Fuji, the last left turn, as explained just above. And the right turn before that.
The first turn at Daytona Road Circuit.
Turn 3 at Nürburgring GP.
At the Nordschleife: Dreifach Rechts.
The S curves at Suzuka (especially the right and left one).

I can't do anything on Fuji correctly, I need every aid in the game on to even be competitive on that track.

Other than that the first corner of Nurburgring GP and the first two chicanes at Monza give me trouble.

i like to think i'm a pretty good driver but for some reason the final turn at Monza just feels weird..it always seems really hard to get a proper line on that corner with good speed.. it just feels like its badly designed or something..

The long half-circle in the upper-left of Tokyo R246 (sorry, couldn't find names for that courses' corners anywhere). I rarely find the right moment to get back on the throttle to come out of that corner.

The corner that goes under the flyover toward the end of the lap on Tokyo R246. I always understeer into the wall or end up crawling round it. I have the same problem on the corner running it in reverse as well.

Throttle modulation is key for that corner. Depending on the car you can also take it flat out.

I used to have quite a few corners that killed me on the 'Ring and one in particular is Wippermann. I am not sure if it is Wippermann, all I know is that it starts as a set of esses that almost screams to be taken in a higher speed than it should be. It is right before the stretch leading up to the 3rd to last split on the Nordschleife track.

Ι will just put one corner that pisses me off and never achieved correctly. No 1st corner TGTT, No Fuji, No Tokyo, but Indy Road track the very last corner.... i always make it to the grass when i want to pass it fast...

For sure. That corner always makes me wish for a wheel. I just can't modulate the throttle with a damn DS3 button. I'd switch the gas and brake to L2/R2 for better control, but I love the shifters being there, nothing else feels natural for shifting...

i got Right stick Up and down for shifting.. but even r2 l2 arent accurate when it comes to put specific amount of throttle... for me its like have 4 or 5 scales of throttle... not million like real pedals

Shifting I have as L2/R2. I actually enjoy having the X button as the accelerator and I have learned how to apply different kinds of pressure in order to modulate.

Couldn't agree more in every other racing game i own i use L2/R2 to accelarate and brake but on GT5 where i use manual gears it feels like a paddle shift and to break a habit of over 7/8 years would be impossible.

For me, it would be turn 11 at SPA. I can't get the car to turn-in and maintain speed?. 2nd hardest would be turn 1 at Daytona, need I say more....?

1st corners at both daytona road and tgtt. But the one I hate the most is the corner that leads onto a straight that isn't really a straight, about halfway round the ring. I'm pretty sure its the corner just before where Lauda had his fiery crash, the one that tightens half way through. 🤬 that corner. And I don't go off, but I lose abit of time at bus stop at spa.

The TGTTs turn one would kill me, then after hours of time spent in the benz drive seasonal.... Its only a flesh wound.:sly:

The first turn at TGTT. It'll feel natural when I'm entering it, but then the car will stop turning and I end up in the cones that PD included strictly to make us feel bad. :guilty:

The final corner at Tsukuba always tricks me when I drive without grippy tyres and a very fast sports car I always end up with hefty understeer. :dunce:

There is also a corner deep in the 'Ring that would catch me off guard, but I'm fine now. So much so that I feel like I could to the Nurb right now and drive near flawlessly.

The hill corner on nurburgring, before Aremberg, I always slow down too much because i know I can't keep grip through that corner :S.

Blanchimont seems to get me a lot, especially in the wet, its nothing in a F1 car with grip and almost a straight but in something heavier it catches me out.

Last corner at Monza. Either too slow or too fast. I have never nailed it at all.

Alot of people have trouble at fuji with the last two corners and it's the old saying - slow in fast out. Don't get too greedy for speed although the last corner turn in spot still gets me .....

Like everyone else here it seems, turn 1 at TGTT. Impossible to find the line there.

Also, Eschbach on the 'Ring...Always run wide uphill.

Turn 1 at TGTT, I either brake too much or end up off the track, a turn I can rarely get right.

Every corner on nurburgring. I respect the track but god I hate driving on it.

The left-hander after the corkscrew on Laguna seca.. :\

It takes quite a bit of slowing down before hand to cut sharp into the apex. I'm usually in 3rd or 4th gear. I used to just sort of slide through it but later realized I could get better times slowing down and hitting the apex as tight as possible then power accelerating through it. Realistically you also shouldn't push all the way to the outside but rather compromise speed in that corner to set up the next corner perfectly. If you push too hard through the lefthander you won't get back to the left in time to set up for the next turn.

At least that's my experience. There are more qualified people out there, maybe they can give better advice.
