they always get canada wrong, people here arent like that at all...

Oh yeah. I remember that one.

And that's what the Simpsons are about. Making fun of everything. I'm a stock racecar fan, and when they did an episode on Stock car Racing, they said some very false and stereotypical things. But I laughed like hell, it didn't phase me. That's why I enjoy the Simpsons.

But everyone the Simpsons make fun of aren't like that. They stereo type everyone. Not everyone is a hindu store clerk like Apu, not every mayor is like quimby, not every worker is fat and lazy like Homer.

I did find the Canadian basketball olympic team thing to be hilarious, but I know it's not really like that.

I remember that episode. The one were Flander's wife died. I liked the part were Homer drove his car into pitlane and the crew changed the tires and filled it up.
