Well, annually during the summer, we go on an out of town vacation.

So, on Sunday, the 13th, we are heading out down to Texas.

We're, from what I've heard, going to Baton Rouge Louisianna, then Galveston and Houston and San Padre Island, in some kind of order.

I am guessing that we will be taking I-44 south, though we could take 55 south too, so I'm not exactly sure of the route.

But if you see a 1992 Silver/Blue Mazda MPV V6 with Missouri plates, 99% chance it's us.

I don't think I will be driving, since my permit expired on the 8th. Unless I get my license today or tomarrow(Yes Doug, they are open on Saturdays!).

Hopefully, my dad will see the light and take his Dell laptop that he bought for vacations so we can get on the net, though when I bring it up, he shuts me up.

We will be gone from Sunday to the 22nd.

We are taking our new digicam and a 128MB card, so I will have pics when I get back.

Ohh, and my bro for some reason decided to boycott the family vacation this year, so he's staying home, which helps us because he's gonna have to keep the house running and stuff while we're having fun in the sun(though the current forecast differs).

So, in short, I'm not sure exactly where we are going except it's Texas.

I will hopefully. I have no clue as to what we are doing. I know we will be on the beach for a while. Other than that, I donno.
 
I will if my dad brings his laptop like he first said he would. Otherwise I'll have to write a long post after I get back about what I did.

Damn MazKid. I wish I could have a vacation like that. I only went to Charleston, S.C for 4 day and didn't do much at all. I was disappointed with the beach because I like to ride waves on my boogie board but there were no waves. It was like sitting in a salty bathtub. I did get to see the Hunley (you know, the civil war sub). It was down in a tank and was all crusty except for two places where they had scraped it off. I think the high points of the vacation was eating out. My brother didn't go either so we got to eat like Gods.

I hope you have a better time than I did. (Eat some good food!!)
 
I plan on leaving my country for a month in December.
Meaning, I might misout on the release of Gran Turismo 4...:(

If you're gonna go to the beach in South Carolina, go to Myrtle Beach! Its where I (unfortunately) live. But I go on vacation so much it almost isn't fun unless we go out of the country. I've been to Orlanda 9 times and Florida itself like 12. Aruba once, Cali once, and New York (yay!) a lot, and Canada twice.

I really wanna go to Cancun, though...

I've never been out of the country. We were planning on going to Canada several years ago but no one really showed interest.

The main reason my bro doesn't want to go is because he wouldn't have his own car. When we went to the Ozarks last year, he drove his MX-6 along with the MPV, and he did his own stuff a lot which was pretty cool. But that's like 250miles from here, not the 900+ miles down to Texas.

I just got done packing up the PS2, power cord, Coaxial cord, RCA cord, S-Video cord, PS2 controller, mem card, and The Getaway. GT3 is in the PS2 already. Me and my bro have been setting 400m records with a 43XX hp Stratos Rally car. Today, right as I was getting ready to turn it off and pack it up, I ran a 5.495 sec at 279mph. Fast eh? When I get back I might upload the replay so you all can see what speed is. I am gonna try to beat that record while in Texas.
 
Packing is so much fun. Already I'm missing sandals, simming trunks I took to the Ozarks last year, and fitting water shoes.

Now I have these crappy swimming trunks. Fooey!

I went to Canada, I can tell you about it.

It was the exact same as the US, except you didn't have to live in fear of being shot.

We are taking the laptop, though my dad said that we would put AOL on it once we get into the hotel room and stuff...

I cleaned the inside of the MPV a little...took out the floormats and blew the dirt out with compressed air(and have had a runny nose ever since...dust!), cleaned out the ash treys(for junk...we don't smoke), and checked out the license plates(the back one wasn't properly in the Lou Fusz frame, and the front was bent and the frame was heated into place(plastic frame+license plat+sunlight=permenatly bent frame) and I was going to put on a Zoom Zoom plate but it covers over the stickers so it's kinda illegal, and I couldn't find another Lou Fusz frame, so the old one stays).

My dad said that I'd be driving on the way down even though my permit expired...he doesn't care, and I care less.
