This is where I'd found about this rumor.
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=140084

Said by ethomaz himself when he posted the GT5 photostream news.
Rumored adds in March Update.

- Photo Stream [CONFIRMED]
- ALL Premium wheels available in the wheel shop
- Adjustable Sound sliders (time to crank up that beautiful exhaust note!)
- Adjustable Field-Of-View sliders with Dynamic Chase-Cam on/off
- Paint Chip Purchasing system
- Arcade Options in A-Spec (A.I. Difficulty, please)
- Classic Sports Car pack
- Bathurst, Seattle, and El Capitan track pack

- and finally….. EVENT CREATOR!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
So this had got me wondering lately. I'm not trying to hype things up though, just wondering. :sly: But this seems very interesting don't you all think?

Please god I hope it's real, especially that Classic Car Pack!:dopey::sly:

Sounds too good to be true. I'll believe it when I see it (although it would be fantastic).

.oO Why would some gamer in Brazil have this info if it was true?

It does sound too good to be true, but I wouldn't complain about any of that if it does end up being true.

I'd imagine the classic sports car pack would include the one car that Kaz has mentioned being modeled that hasn't been put in the game yet. That car being the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona.

I would love this to be true. This would be GT5's best update if it is.

Sounds way to good to be true yeah...

But the event creator made me drool :D

We can only hope. :dopey:

I'd love that track pack. I truly miss both Seattle and El Capitan.

Hmm it would be nice to see these in GT5 but it sounds a little to good to be true.. Where was this information sourced from anyway? Cus IMO it sounds a tiny bit like a wish list...

Who is ethomaz?

Also that is like pure wishlist material ... too good to be true. Although I would be quite happy if it was. Seattle is quite missed by me.

The link is in my sentense. It's the only site I know and found it from. :)
How it's written it seems very interesting. Not to much, and not to little, just simple. ;)

Not even slightly.

Ignoring the part where he ripped off our banner image for that story (hotlinking it, no less, and not crediting the source(s)), his post is a carbon copy of a post made by researchALLWars in our comments section for that blog post, made 6 hours before he then posted it on VGChartz:

You guys think the March Update being discussed here is 3.0 ?

Which, more to the point, you directly responded to around 2 minutes later.

That'll be "bollocks" then. I don't know who "ethomaz himself" is, but that's some unimpressive behaviour.

This. Unfortunately.

THIS MUST be real. I've wanted Seattle in GT5 since it released.
Event creator looks cool too.

Before when researchALLWars wrote that, that's how I found that website.

researchALLwars posted it first. By six hours. The VGChartz article didn't go live until 6pm EST - ours had been up by midday - and hotlinked the image I'd chosen from one of our users without crediting either us or the user...

Uhhh. :( Does that mean this thread is gonna get locked? :indiff:

Fuelling rumours is one thing (and one thing we try to avoid), but fuelling rumours presented as rumours when they were wishlists posted here in the first place? Not happening.

This is exactly what happened with the 10,000-strong car list that was posted here in GT3 days as a wishlist for GT4 - and ended up being posted back here forty or fifty times as an official car list when it was nothing of the sort.
