The Shelby GT350 (not the R) is premium, painting it will keep the stripes unlike the Shelby GT350R in GT5 which would remove them (not sure if they changed it for GT6), the stripes will be black if painted a light colour and white if you paint it a dark colour. Also, isn't the Shelby Cobra more or less the same as the AC Cobra?

I agree, they could've easily copied the Shelby model and made the AC Cars version premium considering they've upgraded the following cars to semi-premiums (not as detailed as the premiums but a lot more detailed than the standards) with a few of them already having premium variants of the same model

Mini Cooper - One of the most successful race and rally cars of all time and it has spent it's GT career being ignored.

Aston Martin DB7 - The start of the modern Aston revival and an important step into their current designs.

Subaru Imprezza STI 95 - Perhaps the most symbolic of the scooby stylings and of course a car made famous by its WRC counterpart.

Lotus Carlton - A fun wolf in sheep's clothing and an excellent addition to any garage

Lister Storm Race Car - For the sake of your deity of choice please give this car some lovin, I remember watching it as a child at pre race warm up session and it was a fire breathing beast not the overwieght junker shown in GT so far.

Isuzu Bellett 1600 GT-R '69 - It's rare and overlooked but I like it.
