well im just wondering... is it any good and if so should i wait until i complete the 75% to get it or get my S-licence and do "like the wind" race to do it because i hate getting the S-licence its a pain in the ass to do

The 787B is a good car, and can win you quite few races, overwhelmingly so in some cases. I lapped the field on the Seattle track during a pro level race using it.

If you do a wheelie trick with the 787B, or the C5R, then sparks will come out from the back, and yes the 787B is really good and it's handling is almost as good as an F1's, same with it's exceleration! (And do the 75% thing, i did the s-liscence, and it took forever!)

no.... do the S license... seriously.. if you don't wanna lose alot in the pro league, the S license is the way to go
and about the wheelie trick of the 787b, i've personally never been able to pull it off, not nuff downforce
but sparks fly outta the back anyway, cuz the 787b is so low to the ground.
a good place to demonstrate this is on test track
run the top lane, and sparks will fly like you've never seen before.

Ya, you re right about the fact that it can't go up, there isn't enoguh time, But still, i love the sparks!

I'd suggest waiting to get this car. It is one of the top few cars (excluding F1) in tha game. While it will waste nearly any competition, you'll miss quite a bit of the game.

Ultimately, it's your choice. I'd work on the S-license first.

most say 787b is the best non f1 car in the game. I think the gtone has better handling and is therefor better. but the 787b has much more power so it is faster.

I just completed my S-Lisence about 4 days ago . I bought the game on 12.6.2002 and played it for a while . Disappointed cuz I wasnt able to get my S license , I deleted the save . After a loooonnggggg time , I got to witness the replay of a JGTC in Malaysia and that sparked my interest back in GT3 .

Neway , I would say go for the license . Its really really rewarding . This is one of the types of games which gives you the sense of accomplishment . Really .

Well I would suggest going for the s license because you are gonna have to get it eventually and going for it is only gonna make you a better racer.

So just go for it, and if you cant get it, go for the normal racing until you get good enough for the super license...

I got the 787b over the weekend for getting 75%. That was a pleasant surprise, especially since I had just won another Calsonic Skyline.

What a great car. The only cars that come close to keeping up are the the GTOne and the R390. And it's a blast to drive. I never thought a five speed could be so good.

And on a side note, is the R390 in GT3 a lot better than the R390 in GT2? I liked it in GT2 but don't remember it being such a monster there.

Conversely, the GT40 was hard to beat in GT2 but is always lagging behind in GT3.

Is it just me?
