Wait? What? Danny posts a picture up without a shark in it somewhere. Something just froze.
It is a satellite view of the ocean off of Australia. There are sharks, you just can't see them.

Time hasn't been kind to Carmen Miranda.
Or Pauly Shore's career.

To stay on topic: Photos from the snowstorm in Buffalo, NY, which brought up to 5 feet of snow in some places.

I've been seeing those pictures roll in from Buffalo all day... I can't help but think what would happen if that kind of snow hit Atlanta. Last winter we had about 3-inches of snow and it took me over 2 days to get home from work. Make it 5 feet and we'd all probably go tribal

Anyway, Mecca at night.

Landing at Princess Juliana Airport, Sint Maarten

A short runway with an approach that forces pilots to fly dangerously low from the open sea, it can be very disorientating for pilots but there have been no incidents at the airport itself in its 71 year history. The only incident of note was that of ALM Flight 980 which was forced into a water landing off the coast after several failed landing attempts.

Videos like this are just as awesome and I would love to go planespotting here so much.

A whole lot late to the party, but can confirm - it is awesome - I was there at about this time last year. Missed seeing a 747 land/take off because I had to get on it, but did see a couple of other A330 size planes arrive and take off.
