I think it's just the orientation of the barrel, since that shells would have all been gone a long time ago. (Unless that one had a problem/was delayed.)

The demonstration of Naziism atop of a place like the Acropolis, with its symbolism conveying imagery of democracy, harmony, classical civilisation and pretty much what all of the western world is founded upon... to have such absolute power and absolute contempt for humanity at the same point is pretty amazing to me. Whether amazing and cool in a good way or a bad way.

I've done something similar with a computer monitor and existing photos by matching the perspective of the diorama with the perspective at which the photo was taken. tricky, but still nowhere near as convincing as what you shared:

I'm going with a reflection rather than from under the ice. It'd be a much easier photo to take for one.
