Man, it would be awesome if we could get started right at 8. I've got to go to a movie at 9:30. Help...
...Be really nice if IP made it last night and....
I don't think point adjustments are necessary, I like to see a shake up in the finishing order, and like track mentioned in the first paragraph it does make a difference in real world racing. I would personally be against point adjustments, because you are basically penalizing someone for running one race, I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I don't see this as a big issue. That is my viewpoint on this issue, take it or leave it.It is quite realistic, especially with NASCAR if you think about it. There are plenty of road course ringers that come in for 1 or 2 events out of 36 and are awarded the points for the day.
If we were to consider any points adjustments in the future for similar situations, I would say the one time driver is not considered as a position. For example, if the one time driver finished 3rd, everyone behind him in the series would move up to the next position in regards to points awarded. So 4th place series driver, would actually get 3rd place points, 5th place, get 4th place points, and so on.
Hey Greest and ipfreely, Do you 2 know eachother?
