Looks like there is a connection problem with GT5. Maybe that's why we all got booted on Saturday night. I havent try to play online since our race. I post some pic's from Daytona to my profile on GT.

I raced last night and all was okay. Some of the guys did have a problem connecting online all together just before we got met up.

How is everyone feeling about Saturday night? If your in jail, break out. Cause Motegi Japan is the place to be!

I am looking forward to the race as long as my kids stay in bed (my wife is out of state for the weekend and my daughter will sometimes get out of bed in quite a funk). I think I have a good tune for speed and tire ware. Excited to see where everyone else is at with it.

I'm looking forward to the race tomorrow too. I'm hoping i can beat killer on strategy, if not then I will race him hard. He is definitely faster than me, so I'm just hoping for some good luck. If killer spins make sure to not hit him, because then there will be no caution.:lol:

Well I thought I learned the first time that helping killer was a bad thing for me, but I guess not. We were practicing last night and he was off the pace I was running, so I figured I would be a good person and help him out. I gave him my downforce settings, then he picked up the pace quite a bit. He eventually told me he was still running the set up I gave him with no changes, because I guess it is that good. Oh just so everyone knows I think killer may have said he is going to pit twice, either that or that is just what I thought I heard.

Yep I'm pitting twice because I don't feel I can make it as many laps as rap can so I'm going for speed instead of distance good luck to all tonight

Not sure I believe that post killer. I have never seen you not go for the distance strategy. All it will take is a caution somewhere in the middle and everyone's plans might be out the window. With this track being a bit more of a handling and drivers track, real curious to see where the lap times are at.

Well that was an interesting, strategic race. Well driven guys and a huge thanks to rap for working together to make that pit strategy work.

Got some questions about our next race at X. I did one lap around to see just what we are in for. Looks like about 5 minute laps. Are we qualifying for this race? Maybe all at once but spread out enough to eliminate draft? Just 1 lap or still 2? Are pits mandatory? Not sure what gas mileage will be, can't imagine tires are an issue. What about cautions/pitting. I think on a track like this we could restart at a distance marker rather than taking a 15 minute lap around to the S/F line.

My two cents would be no qualifying and no mandatory pit stop. Cautions for any accidents, when the field regroups someone says go. Maybe a 3, 2, 1, go! type deal.

Great strategy race last week guys. I got behind and lost the draft. At that point had to go on my own pit windows and lost a lap. I was surprised to see Killer spinning coming out of turn 4 a couple of times. I still had fun praying for a caution the whole time. I asked about a lucky dog rule. Not sure if you want to implement that rule but it would be nice. I wish we had 12 or 14 drivers but great turn out once again.

I believe Bowtie said we are not qualifying for this race. I didn't think pit stops were mandatory, but the races were made long enough so it was necessary. I agree about starting restarting at one of the markers, makes sure to keep the field close on the restarts.

Well after thoroughly reviewing the points standings, it looks like I'm fairly out of contention for the championship. I am a little disappointed about it, but there will be other opportunities. I am just going to try to go for win and maybe take some risks I would normally take (pit strategy and tuning experimenting). I would like to say good luck to everyone still in contention and may the best racer win, excluding killer.

Ya i'm thinking no Qualifying as for the restarts that sounds good ether using the lines or just saying go. There will be a lucky dog if needed.

That sounds like it will work to me, as long as everyone cooperates.

I am hoping to get on Saturday evening around regular time to finalize some testing and tuning. If anyone is up for some drafting let me know. Should be interesting to see how much more speed one driver might have over another. I haven't noticed a huge difference in speed with suspension adjustments, but trans gearing will be key.

I wish I could will try to join you in a little bit if I can.

Well guys I'm gonna miss this weekends action. Due to the long drive home not sure how much more I will be able to race gt5 because I'm going back to racing my dirt modified on Saturdays. I'm probly gonna miss Nov 8,9 weekend because I'm gonna get my car ready to race against ken schrader at mountain creek speedway. Good luck to you all in a championship battle it was great racing with you guys I will try to make to as many races as possible. Great series you got going on bowtie

Well that stinks to hear Killer, but sounds like a great opportunity for you. Have fun out on the dirt.
