Persistance and ever such slight tuning pays off. :)

1'20.811 :)

ok... so i have bought all the correct mods for my holden, got an oil change.. and it says 722HP... ok either i have done something wrong.. or i have done something wrong. Anyway i check my weight and its well below 1700kg, without weight reduction.. so in testing i add 100kg... anyway at Hong Kong... my car is either illegal or the drivers in here are incredabily slow cause my best lap in 15mins is a 1'17.687 ??? Go figure

This is my first OLR so i don't expect my time to be too good right now, plus i have not had an oil change, are we allowed to?

The Commodore isn't allowed an oil change. Also, you are not supposed to have any weight reduction.

well its going to have to need one as after practice, qualifying and the race for the whole series its gonna clock up a few k's

ok ok clame down. there are some rule changes which i need to put up, but tlet me tell them here:

1) new weights for the cars. the commodore does not need any weight and now both cars are allowed an oil change per race. the fpv still needs 6kg of weight. the reason for this is that with these changes, both cars will have roughly the same power to weight ratio. all other mods in the first post still need to be applied

2) You are now allowed to fit a 2-way lsd and a carbon driveshaft, becasue i forgot to put them up in the first place.

3) i have decided that i will only do an end-of-season drag comp as i'm not that good at the whole drifting lark. i'm a fan, but i can't do it!!!

I was thinking the same thing, except I have an FPV.

What tires are you using to produce the 1'17.687?

hey guys

just tolet you know i am going to be at my nan and grandad's all week. don't worry, they have a computer, so i will try to get on here whenever i can ok? keep those entries comin'!!!

just one thing: i did some testing with both cars with these setup lark, and i found that you can get the same PTWR if you put 44kg of ballast on the Holden and 6kg on the FPV. i did this because when i did an oil change to the Holden, it had 722hp. so to keep the cars even, i had to apply wieght to get the PTWRs the same. i did a test around tsukuba and the times for both cars were 1/10 of a seccond apart. not bad ,eh?

Whoa thats alotta changes lol

time to get onto the the ol'PS2...

:)

Sorry, i'm a little confused here. How does this work exactly? Is there any online playing element? If so, i'm stuffed.

No, you do the testing/qualifying laps in GT mode and, I believe, in the first post, we're told which races to run.
