Man, please dont be so hostile, im just saying that if people miss practice, then yeh they missout on valuable preperation. If they miss qualifying, then a time penalty should be set. Am i the only person who sees a problem with a time penalty, especially of that size for missing practice. Its great that we can chat about the qualifying and stuff now to see what people want but you do get a little hostile towards people just giving you some advice.

Eh i missed practice, if the rules stay as they are i should just make sure i dont miss it from now on.
well, i've taken back what i said and it doesn't matter for this race. i've scraped this qualifying format for a new one which will be in place for round 2.

oh and migagee, i suppose you don't care what i think of you, but i'll say it anyway. you're just like ebiggs and r8man: a perfectionist.

There's a lot of gray area between absolute perfection and how this first round has been so far, and I'm sure somewhere in the middle of it is where they'd like to be.

Perfectionist? No way. I think you are digging for organized and mature.

Sorry guys, no times from me this week. I've been really busy, and I just haven't had the time to run these races. Next week though. You just wait.

Ok then.

i just did my two races. not very happy though, way off the pace of the other, somehing like 30 seconds slower. sigh....if only i had a dfp....

Hmmmm I know what you mean but I like using controller, I always have done and probably always will.

I feel I did well with my controller.

Is it okay that I sent my times to nitro or should I send them to you too, Bee?

Either one of us is cool.

Oh yeah guys you need to check out the new info and sign up pages so you can;

A) Check out the new race week structure.
B) Change the links on your siggy so it just links to that one thread.

Just wondering how many race times ahve been submited so far and when will the results be up?

Well, organisationg isnt that bad really, the formats there, and its brilliant, but like anything it will take afew rounds to get off the gorund and running smoothly. Me and a mate ran a online racing championship for a pc game here, and even though the majority of the entrants were in the same time frame, it still took abit to run smoothly.

Im still in for the comp man, i think its gonna be heaps of fun.

boomboy

Yeah good question I'm just waiting for Nitro to get online and post up the results.

Shouldn't be too long hopefully.

7th and 6th!! Booooyah!!!

Electric.....: What happened in the 2nd race dude?

In first race,I had PERFECT (caps intentional) setup and medium tyres all round.
In 2nd race,I decided to change the setup.,but I ****ed it up,and chose racing medium on front, and soft on the rear tyres.
And from lap 4,it was more like" V8 Super Drift Cars" for me. Drift galore through almost all corners, and I was more concetrated on WRS 30 than on race 2.I am,I have to say, very suprised that I won the race 1,that damned aston martin db9 was killing me...........

HAHA. I'm in the same boat. Dang.

This weeks race will be good, because I believe I will have more time.

Wow, 9'1x's? I thought that was impossible. I was pushing it to the limit on RH's to get that 9'26. I need to practice more next time it seems.

Congrats everyone on the first race.

Well, let's just hope we get a better turnout than eight drivers next time. the prospect of ejr1 racing next time is good. You guys need to tell the other guys that this is happening now. i would, but i'm snowed under with homework and all that...

Im happy with my 5th place. Man some of those times are quick i was struggling to get my time under 9.30.xxx on RHs

Shet. Sorry, got all confused with everything happening. :indiff:

I was on hard fronts and medium rears, understeering my way around by late braking.

I think it helped.
