Hello, can you please help me?

I've been reading about people that start an endurance race in B-Spec mode and then go shopping etc. Can the B-spec driver decide when to pit in or do you have to order him to do that every time?

Yes, the B Spec driver will pit either when it thinks it needs new tyres or it's running low on fuel. Occasionally it'll make a poor judgement by coming in to get tyres too early, for example, however for the majority of the time it's quite good at deciding when to come in.

It's worth noting that if you were running at increased pace before the pit stop (i.e. you were running at 2x or 3x), when you come out of the pits you'll be back at 1x

GreyCap, people may go shopping but only to find out when they return to the game Bob may certainly not have won it.

I've been Bspeccing most enduro races since I'm an newbie to GT and have had to keep a keen eye on Bob to make sure he actually made me some money. Some of the enduro's are very hard (for me) to win.

I certainly had to push the OK button to make sure I didn't lose the precious 5 second delay GT4 will take (each time Bob pits) deciding what to put in and on the car.

Also wise to not always fill up with 80 litres of petrol either. Makes the car heavier and could lose you the race.

Leaving the game while in B-spec mode is Cheating infact all races should be won by you in A-spec mode.
Do the Super Speed way 100 lap race in A-spec mode coz at the end you get a really soar finger :D

I beg to differ. It's not cheating. Cheating would be if you used a Game Shark or something of the sort to gain advantage and/or get ahead of the game. B-Spec is a feature in GT4 and therefore, you're allowed to use it whenever you feel like it. Plus, for someone who's NOT into Endurance races, such as myself (anything over 15 laps and I get sleepy), B-Spec is a blessing. I remember being completely annoyed at the 2-hour races in GT3.

I've A-Spec'd most endurance races up until the 10-12th lap and then B-Spec comes in...

Hey does anyone remember i startes a thread just like this a couple of weeks ago? And so did some other guy last week. This seems to be a frequently asked question......
