Just put a 747-size wing on the back, add some jet fuel in the gas tank, and this bad boy's ready to burn everything! :D

"I said a ten second car, not a ten minute car" :D

"You could push it accross the finish line...or..tow it" :p

"You couldnt even tow that across the finish line" now its annoying ...

Back then weren't they still called the Toyota Celica Supra? Before the Supra evolved into a different direction (mmmm, mark IV...)

close. It's a 1982 Toyota Supra, not a Celica. :D

From what I can gather, it was called the 'Celica Supra' between 1979 and 1986 (MKI and MKII Supras).

No I had a 1984 Celica for my car back when I was 15. I wasn;t a Celica Supra.

streetracer780 - the Supra was a Toyota Celica Supra. The Celica was still a Celica. Supra was the equivalent of a trim level - like Ford Focus Zetec, or Lancer Evo.

leave it the way it is and drop a twin turbo engine under the hood.....sleeper

The resulting speeds that it would reach with a TT motor would probably shred that thing into pieces.:p 'Bout 130-140mph, and that hood is airborne.:p

I stand by my original statement.

Check out this site if you want. I was kind of hoping Josh would come in here and clear this up, but I think he's hung over after last night's monster truck rally and subsequent bonfire.

Look at this.

I must admit... this is new to me. I'm not real big on older Supra's, but I always thought any older Celica was a Celica Supra.

I thought the opposite... The oldest Supra was a Celica Supra alongside the rest of the Celica range...

We had a remote control Celica Supra when I was a kid (we got it Christmas 1982, it broke in January 1983)... :D And my Matchbox collection is beyond compare :D

Heh, I have no idea where my Matchbox collection is (though it was pretty big). Might be collecting rust in someone's attic.

As for the "Celica Supra..." what kind of specs did it have?
