The best thing about winter

And now we're ****ing snowed in.. This close to my place:

A tractor plowed all the snow away in front of my place last night. With all the snow falling tonight, I couldn't get the car out because of the tractor's tracks...

I got a kick out of the delivery trucks power sliding around in the first snow of the year. Power sliding in the Volvo was also pretty entertaining. As was watching the Subarus charging straight up hills and things that SUVs couldn't make it up.

On the downside, having my car stuck in the garage for a week and a half was a bit of a bummer.

Torqueless. I can spin in 2nd or 3rd with out much trouble in snow or ice this time of year. I've barely used 1st gear at all since it dropped down to freezing temperatures, has become habit to just put the Spyder straight into second.

I'm speaking of winter tires on cold, dry asphalt bub. She sends both wheels all the way through fourth on snow and ice, hehe. I'm so excited!

Meanwhile, my uncle has a 400hp SVT Cobra sitting in his garage that will do that pretty much every day.

I got a clever idea now 💡 I've started browsing ads for local RWD cars So maybe we can have some fun with this snow

I'm just happy to have a 4x4. My wife questioned why I had to have 4 wheel drive when i was buying my truck. The last couple days she has been happy that it has it.

And when I want to have fun, push one button, and its back to RWD.
