Yesterday the 2J finally showed up in my UCD, and as one should, I slapped down 14 million for it, and I love it!

I had the 2D for a very long time, I got it for one of my first tickets, I believe it was a 1000 ticket.
 
I spent the money on both, however was very displeased at the driving experience the 2J offered me, at the Indy LTW oval. It understeers like a SOB. understandeably, due to the hypersonic jets behind me. Haven't tried the 2D yet, I see Praiano has a tune for it though, most 99% of his tunes are fantastic drives.
 
I have both as well. Very fun cars. The 2J completely dominated a 650pp race car room a little while back. (by about 15 seconds over 5 laps). And they only have 3 gears; low, medium, high.
I've also got the the 2J going about 160+ mph in REVERSE. Good times. If you max out the gears, then max out the final drive, I'm sure it can hit 200mph in reverse.
 
Got the moving fridge from a ticket, what a great surprise!

I don't typically own cars like that, but its a really nimble, little rocket.

Not sure where you get the idea that Porsche was behind the ban on movable aerodynamic devices, but it's simply not true. Hell, the Porsche 908 had it's own movable wings. And the tall spindly wings were banned due to numerous crashes occurring after strut failures. The real cause of the 2E's wing type being banned was the 1969 Barcelona Grand Prix where there were three crashes resulting from wing strut failures, including one which sent a car into the spectators.

Porsche did threaten to withdraw from LeMans in 1969, but that was because Porsche wanted the FIA to allow moveable wings on cars that had already been approved during homologation.

I bought the 2J just on a random day. Had the credits so I went for it. It was before the seasonals had their payouts tripled.

Right after the seasonals had their payouts tripled, the 2D popped up in the UCD. I was way short on credits. Figured it would pop back up soon. IT DIDN'T! It took a few hundred game days (about 2 and a half months IRL) for the 2D to pop back up again. I got it that time.

To add insult to injury... Since the 2D that I bought popped back up, I've seen them in the UCD often. After I bought mine, one popped up 5 game days later (next day IRL) and then another 2 popped up about 3 IRL days after that. I think that was PD's bad idea of a joke.
 
I jumped on the 2j the first time I saw it in the UCD, having lusted after it from a previsou version of GT and equally cursed it in the B-spec Cote d'Azur race. I've since enjoyed destroying people online with it, spectacular car. Now that we've all been able to keep our credits maxed, I've been on the hunt for the 2d that showed up at the same time and I couldn't afford back then. Finally acquired today after a long day of scrolling through the UCD, can't wait to drive it.
 
The 2J is now in the UCD!!! 14.5 Million. I have 13.6 million and waiting on my last two bobs to stop racing they have a combined 860K! I've sold a few NCD Lambos and discovered that you can't sell ANY race cars, which is what my garage is mostly made up of.

I WILL own it by the end of the day!!!
 
I got both of them from the ucd.
 
I got my 2J from a '70 ticket. Not too interested in the 2D

I really want a tune for the 2J to take it to the next level. Badass car, 750+ hp and i cant get the wheels to spin (its a 3 speed) and the thing is sucked to the ground of course

love it!
 
Really got to hand it to my B-spec grinders. In a weeks time I've bought the 2D & 2J, Sauber Mercedes, Jag XJ9 RC and most of the stuff in the latest OCD. That's roughly 45 million spent in a week!
 
Lucky for me i traded my Nissan Yellowhat GT-R for a 2J :D
 
I Own both :) Two of my most favourite cars!
If only I could see them IRL one day. Doubt that will happen though. :\

I have them both, traded the 2J (before the limit) and found the 2D in the UCD :)
 
Saw a 2D in the UCD, about half way down the list, went to La Sarthe seasonal to grind some more credits and when I had the 12m credits I opened up the UCD but it was gone :(

Thought the UCD only refreshed 6 cars per track loading screen*??? There was 12 cars below it...

*Only loaded the track once, then did about 8 races to enable me to have enough credits on top of what I already had...

Loved this car in GT4, been waiting for it for ages and missed out! :ouch:
 
That's a real pain when that happens, thats happened to me plenty of times such as when i was trying to raise the money for my Ford GT '69 (got it now though after weeks of cycling the UCD) :/

Every time you start a race, practice, license, seasonal the UCD will move. It moved 8 times for you. But don't sweat it. Hold on to the money. It appears that at a certain point it'll pop up a little more frequently.

Ahh I get it now, thanks! I have seen other cars appear very soon after I've bought them in the UCD so hoping I'll be in the 2D club soon =)
