Bumper can? Really? I switched from hood cam to cockpit a few months ago and it feels better in racing now. For some time trials and drifting I still prefer hood cam but never enjoyed bumper...
Cockpit makes me crazy. Sitting on the left side in one car, on the right in another, in the middle in a third is too much for me.
Maybe I need bumper because it looks always the same, no matter if RB Competition or Gordini. Unfortunately this results in the fact that I drive all cars the same way :scared:

May 31st 2026 - Group C Endurance at Suzuka

Impressions

An Endurance race in Group C was long overdue. Our idea was to (just in time) give the legends a chance to shine before the upcoming Hypercar update. Better safe than sorry.
Thanks that all cars were well represented, especially to our top drivers who agreed to drive the less performat cars.

Roof cam gives the most spacial awareness, but I could never get used to it. The camera is in an awkward place, and size of the cars feels off. The sense of speed isn't there for me either.

The cockpit view is staggeringly gorgeous, but it's too constricted for me. I can't see the track. The only time that view works for me is when I can set FOV, and adjust the seat position. GT7's VR saves the cockpit view for me.

I also echo @MUC76's sentiment on the differing drive seat locations being super disorienting. The Super GT500 cars in particular feel like the crew bolted my seat onto the outside of the wrong door to punish me for complaining too much FR car traction issues.

Funnily for me everything felt too fast in bumper cam and that's why I never really used it. As I use cockpit view in every other game finally I see GT7 as a proper racing Game... 😂

Bumper cam for me also. Used to use roof cam but the lack of rear view mirror got annoying, so I use bumper cam purely for the rear view.

Cockpit view just scares me 😂

Thanks again for the race... was quite tense keeping it on the road and a lack of blue flags made passing traffic quite dangerous! Also got worried that someone was going to one-stop and suddenly appear so kept pushing until the last stint when I realised I had to fuel save.

Was important to see 🇬🇧 on the top step after some erratic Safety Car driving last time, and of course Arsenal losing to Paris in the Champions League. And soon it is the World Cup, even a German manager cannot stop England crashing and burning as is tradition.

Clash Announcement

June 7th 2026 - Titans' Sunday Cup 500

Titans' Sunday Cup 500 is a titanesque version of the well known GT7-Sunday-Cup races. We offer about one of these events per month. This time ...

2026-06-07 - HSR reverse.webp

Further Requirements:
  • Tuning, wide body, aero, etc.: allowed
  • NO SWAP ENGINE
  • Titans livery required
You have two options (both are equally fun):
  1. Fiddle out a perfect setup for your car and battle in front of the grid for top positions
  2. Jump into your favourite PP500 and go on track taking the risk of being lapped

The Clash of the Titans are friendly races. It`s even more. It`s racing with friends.

Just out of interest, how are everyone's times compared to @rheinaoi 's "demo" 1.22.6 ?
I hope that most of us are slower. 🫩
As far as I know there are some guys in low 23rds with their specific meta. Most in 24/25.
Yesterday I found out that with my special skills I have the potential of being even slower. 😁

@rheinaoi has got a big, big problem. He's a great driver with outstanding tuning skills, a unique understanding for cars, huge design skills and he creates fantastic race-pics. In addition he's polite and funny.
So many reasons to hate him but we fail every single time 🙄

I expect @smoothbore12 and @Pesselles 's mutual love / hate for one another to propel them into the 1:22s in testing. But yes, low 1:23s to 1:28s is the current range  I'm really curious to see what cars you'll choose.

In general, I love seeing all the wild ideas that pop up for these tuner events. I won't there for this round, but I'll be watching from afar.

I'll start with a granny to compete M6 ....
After that i don't know.

The Great British car was just too sensible so decided to go with a ridiculous French one.

Renault 5 Turbo lap submitted: 1.23.7
Sensible? You're kidding!
When my cars hit the barrier on the turn after the long straight, they spin down with four elegant pirouettes and crash into the barrier there. Every single time.

Thank goodness I'm a great tuner. So I've optimized the suspension.
Now they do just three elegant pirouettes before crashing. 😎

Such a narrow wheelbase is lethal around the first banking, but the E-Type is quick over a single lap.

I'm not a great tuner but I did manage to get the back end more planted with the attached settings. It stops and turns very nicely for the esses after the tunnel.

Dear @bliprunner,
please do @ElectricNaz this favor. He loves being our “alien,” and we love him. But being official TRC-alien is also a lot of pressure for him 😥
He even tried to loose a finger to be more alien-like. 🙄

By the way. No need for you to slow down. It's allowed to pass our TRC-alien.
  • @330_D beats him every single time on dirt.
  • @rheinaoi detunes his cars from time to time to give all of us a better feeling.
  • @smoothbore12 regularly pits on the last lap to get down to P2.
  • On the Nordschleife, even the kids from Adenau in their Bobby Cars pass him from time to time (taking pictures with their smartphones).
It's very obvious that I'm a liar. Don't believe me a single sentence, except that:
He’s unique and we love him.
