Aw man, that Aphrodite always screwing things up!

Actually, I think I drove the Cobra a couple of days ago in the Music Rally. Fun car to drive, it'll be a sad Sunday for me but I'm already looking forward to the upcoming events. By the way, do I have to be in 3 consecutive clashes to be officially knighted or can it be 3 clashes in total? :D
Nice idea, but three in total of course!
Just wear your tuxedo t-shirt for one more week. 😁

Titans teaching car control (Please feel free to take notes!)
Thanks to our beloved Titans to work out these lines. It took them ages, because they are dammed to stick on the racing line

I have my tuxedo t-shirt ready for this one, but my question is: when you say "Titans livery required" what exactly do you mean by that? :D

We're using some decals related to our club TRC (Titans' Racing Club) or our events "Clash of the Titans" like our logo, our windscreen banner, our "Titans' Classics" sticker for cars before 70s (at least 80s), some running jokes decals or the like.
They are shared by some of us "for friends". Just start with the decals I shared, which should be enough to create a car.

Sometimes we use more, sometimes we use less (maybe just the windscreen banner or a logo integrated in another prepared livery), but there's always a relation to the club.
The idea is that watching the replays we can recognize a TRC event.

Damnit, when did we run the Alpines? I was preparing something for this car... Great Pictures anyway, @MUC76 !

Hello, it's me again...

I understand option 2, but I want to clarify option 1. I mean, either way, I'm gonna be in the back most likely.
But is option 1 ANY car? Like, I can take...um...a Super Formula car to the event?

Sorry for being "pain in your a$$holes" to use the words of a famous Kazahk journalist, Borat Margaret Sagdiyev.

All “options” are the same regulations, road cars only, no engine swaps, 500pp limit on sports tyres.

The only choice is (1) Take it seriously and tune a Tokyo weapon, or (2) Choose any old 500pp car and risk being slow

A top time is mid 1.20’s but anything under 1:30 would be ok.

I’m sure someone will share a top 500pp tune if you want to try it

My inital test was 1:35.146
Hahahahaha I'm so damn slow, I should retire from racing
From what I saw in the convertible cup, you're quicker than you say :D

Tokyo Central is a wild, finicky momentum track where if you get the corner exits right, you stack seconds. The key corners are long and blind; so they require leaps of faith / memorization, graceful trail braking and gradual throttle inputs. It's a lot, honestly.

Some tuning notes for 500pp
  • Find cars with stock power less than 400hp - easier to detune them - the JDM cars are a good starting point
  • Consider building around Sports Medium tires - they give a great power / grip balance
  • Use ballast: 3000lbs / 1360kg is an OK max weight for most cars with minimal drawbacks
  • Always fit the Fully Custom Differential - drops pp
  • Always fit the Fully Customizable Manual Transmission (semi-racing) - drops pp
  • Fit a rear wing and max out rear downforce - drops pp
  • Front downforce ~20 if you have it - if you have no front downforce consider Sports Softs
  • Try a Toyota MR2

I want to like the MR2 but cannot tune/handle it. JDM is always an option... 😅🎌

Have you checked my YouTube, where I embarrass myself everywhere I compete? :indiff:
Isn't about competing, isn't about fame and glory or chasing a carrier at online racing.
It's about racing and having fun with friends ,first or last doesn't matter at least to us .

I don't know where you was running before but here is a different story .
Among us they are very fast and good drivers but they're not winning every time and usually enjoy way more a " fair " battle among them which sometimes is far away from the podium.
Pushing yourself to have a " good " performance just add more stress and anxiety which is catastrophic in our age for the most of us .😂

Everyone here knows where he belongs in order of performance and which one-s are better than him and we respect that or at least we try to .
Although it's undoubtedly proven that everyone can win or climb to the podium for various reasons.

Personaly i start many times knowing before i start that i will " eat " 4-5 seconds per lap due to car- track compo and low skills level ( shut up Daniel ) but i don't give up or search for excuses to comfort my self.
Winning or not , nothing gonna change in my life after that , but having fun , laughing, teasing one the other , improvise etc. leaves a sweet taste that makes it a very precious that hour for us every Sunday.

To cut a long story short:
It's the " spirit " we serve and we are under and numbers , digits, positions ,lap times doesn't play any significant role .

Yes, I know that and racing with you Titans is fun.

But racing in the other places where numbers and positions do matter, and always being last is not, it's depressing. Blip said I wasnt as slow as I calimed, I just said: there is proof!

@Jeje6410 I haven't really been in the mood to play these past few days. Maybe I'll check out your garage today after work or saturday, thanks!

Don't worry, Void! I am in the region of 28/29 and feel fine (because of the rhyme)... Follow what @Jeje6410 and @rheinaoi told and everything will be good. Just don't forget the Stickers! 😂
