Its weird how they just find there way into your house. They are disgusting insects! I personally think they are just there for the hell of it. What do you think of these, really disgusting insects. I think they should all DIE!!!!!

Before I made this thread, there was a roach on my ceiling in the kitchen, I stomped on the floor and it fell on it back, I flooded with RAID... :trouble:

nuthin like that up here where its soooooo cold ... well it aint in summer but 4 the commond sensed american here whe have snow all year :rolleyes:

N-e-wayz no roach... and some of them do dye of natural cause... dont ask me what... i dunno... in a way... i dont wanna kno

I've seen two roaches in my house in the past year or so, one was a wood cockroach, and the other was unidentifiable when I was finished with it.

Wood roach got bludgeoned to death with a screwdriver, and the other got a good dose of the ye ole WD-40 + Lighter flamethrower.

WD-40 and a lighter works wonders for all insect problems, and it's so much more enjoyable than RAID. It claimed the lives of several thousand termites working their way through my yard toward my house from a neighbor's house.

I had a roach problem once. I had my brother move in with me.

He would always leave food around. On his plate when he was done eating, he wouldn't throw it in the garbage, he would just leave it lying around on the counter. Then came the roaches.

I had no choice, I kicked him out after numerous times telling him NOT to do that. Three weeks later the roaches were completely gone.

Maybe you guys should follow that simple rule. Also, you gotta cover up that dog food , if you have a dog that is. Roaches love dog food.

Don't throw out food in the garbage can without covering up the can. It is like ringing a dinner bell for them if you don't. Remember, you have to take their food source away from them which happens to be your food.

If you do have them, using Ghost C's idea is not a bad one, but I like using Pam Cooking Spray better myself since it already is in the kitchen, but to each his own.

I've never been able to get Pam to catch fire.

If you're really resourceful (And crazy) you could just use gunpowder. I've launched many successful campaigns against ant hills with gunpowder. Pour it down the hole, light it, and watch the fire flare up, along with flaming/exploding ants. I imagine cockroaches would be a bit more difficult, though. Maybe an explosive roach motel?

I doubt they'd die. Roaches are tough. They can fall out of a low flying plane and live.

You can also freeze a roach too. Put one in the freezer for 48 hours and then take it out. Let it thaw and it will start to move around again. No joke.

Damn. Roaches sound like a tough enemy to kill, even though both of my encounters with them have resulted in a win for me. Perhaps I should start my own pest control business, then again, not alot of people would want a madman running around their house with a homemade flamethrower, let alone pay them to be there.

The explosive would kill them, as long as it was designed so that the roach motel imploded. That way, rather than getting blown across them room, they get vaporized.
