Okay, did it on another account and did the events in a different order. Did the drift event first, and after restarting the game, didn't get the followers. Then did the other events, did the drag event last, and after the restart after the error for the drag event, I got the followers from the drift event!
Maybe it works on PC or for some users. I followed exactly the same steps as you on a fresh account and didn't get neither the followers from the drift nor the money for the drag event. It's not a big deal anyway, just curious if I missed it somehow or not.
That sucks. But than you got a perfect run without even trying. I still haven't got one despite trying many many times. 😭I didn't get Followers or the cash from the broken summit events (just a completion tick).
What's more irritating though is I FINALLY got a "Perfect Run" in the Drag Race but because it doesn't save it, I didn't get the Hobby unlocked either
I think you're playing on PC, but just to confirm I played TC2 on my Series S today (using cloud gaming) without any issues.
Didn't we get the same sort of issue a few months back on MF ? i remember my ps5 getting a minor update that the server didn't recognise
Yes, so I'm playing on Steam, and I suspect the whole Steam and Ubisoft account linking, and the fact I'm playing on multiple accounts, combined with bugs, might be causing the problem.
Ah, I only play on one account, so wouldn't encounter any of these issues anyway. Sounds like that is causing your problems.
The game doesn't support Steam family sharing, so I've bought each copy of the game separately, so I'm really no different to there just being extra players. The TC2 summit is getting pretty uncompetitive now on PC, platinum is top 4000 and there don't seem to be that many more than 4000 people doing the summit. I'm probably helping to keep it at 4000 rather than being lowered!
Well, I cant argue with the fact that you have paid for each copy separately. Hopefully you bought most when the game was $1 .
I haven't paid full price for any of them, but they were more than the $1 special offer price. I've been happy to "donate" more money to them, but the unbelievably awful support responses I'm getting to my ticket about the crashing problem is starting to make me regret that. Like, after quite a lot of information given to them, they suggest I try turning vsync off - what?!! How would I even turn it off when I can't run the game up, and how could it possibly be the problem anyway when it has worked absolutely fine for years, and why would any system have a problem with vsync being on or off? I'd just told them that if I completely uninstall Ubisoft Connect, including manually deleting files that the uninstall process doesn't remove, and delete all saved game info from the user documents folder, I can then run the game up ONCE, but it crashes the next time it's run up. The problem is clearly related to information it's downloading during that first run, but they think maybe turning vsync off might fix it?!!
Wall ride. Don't be afraid. Go all the way up to the wooden part. Wall ride as soon as the first Stormx sign start. You will get the feeling soon. My biggest issue is AI. I always find at least one blocking the road... every single time.
I just gave it a quick try, and got 103k with 3 collisions, one of which spun me through 360 degrees. Like strela says, use the walls, and I use them in a kind of "v" shape, so I'm highest on the wall in the middle of the bend, then slow down a bit to come down steeply on the exit. There's definitely what the British describe as "a bit of a knack to it", I don't know how well that phrase translates to other languages.
I think you are right. Those are the same vanities from the last week. Maybe it changes monthly now?
I noticed yesterday that the Motorfest tab in the menus still refers to the Red Bull season, so that hasn't been updated either. But the photo competition that was on the first tab has now ended and been removed.
