As a Series S player, possibly the biggest part of this update other than offline mode being available is:
Previous game size 60 GB...
New game size 38.2GB!!!

I literally have enough extra space to install a mid tier game! [Which will probably disappear when TCM update arrives later  ]

Question for those who have been able to try out the offline mode. I know that liveries don't carry over how about any modifications like rims, wheels, etc.... ?

I want to say that this is only the bare bones of offline. They may tweak it in the coming months. We'll have to see what they say in the Showcase today.
While it's unlikely that TC2's offline mode will be updated, a Reddit moderator participating in UBI's Insider program has posted that they will collect feedback on TC2's offline mode and submit it to UBI for future improvements to the offline mode.

If you don't have a reddit account, you'll have to create one, which is a bit of a hassle, but we'd appreciate your help in making TCM's offline mode better.

I hope they collect feedback for an offline, solo and personal version of the track creator along with designing liveries for personal enjoyment, even if they wouldn't make it to TCM or Online!!:ouch:

Quick edit: Also... I can FINALLY cruise without worrying of a 12 years old coming to ram me or being kicked for going to the bathroom. Sweet. PEACE.

Another edit: I hope modding will someday be offline-mode possible!! Imagine the potential!

Got to mess around with the offline mode. It was okay. I am a little bit disappointed that you can't upload your offline save to online but I understand why they wouldn't do that. Hopefully if they make any more changes they will allow you to use your custom tracks.

Tried the hybrid mode and started from scratch. I actually like that you can't access carpass vehicles for free and you have to buy them. But I already came across a money bug. Now I was doing the South Strip to level up the Miata and eventually reached Star level. And with that unlocked some stars for hobbies. Nothing strange. However when I logged in again I had like 30 rewards not claimed in hobbies. So I collected 30 emotes. Now since those are the same emotes I got rewarded money instead. Turns out every time you unlock a 1⭐,2⭐... requirement the game register it as a reward. And now I have 2.7 mil.
