It does mean a reduction in playlists from 6 to 4 each year. However, other things are being added - the "special events". I'm not sure whether the returning "stories" are classed as special events or if not, what these might be.

I'm strongly looking forward to seeing the TrackForge updates! I've seen a French guy saying there was going to be Street Racing and Touge themed kits.

I hope the devs noticed how ridiculous NASCAR AI is. They sometimes pretend to lose control and they're quite difficult even at the lower difficulties and the slightest collisions with them or when they ram a player the player loses control almost all the time but not the AI.

I never understood how some people do 710.5 KM/H or approx 465 MP/H on those Speedtrap feats in a summit with Hypercars when these cars go to a max of 485-490 KM/H or approx 290-300 MP/H. There's not enough room in this tiny circle zone limit to maneuver in. And then there's badass, Superhuman players who do some racing events in 1 minutes 20 seconds when the average completes it in 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Max respect to these MADly skilled players.

The Speedtraps can vary from questionable to freak variances, but the tried, tested and tricky way of getting higher numbers is utilising the Air Nitro to its fullest.

Akor is the guy I go to for fine tuning Pro Settings for Summits and Summit guides and he demonstrates how to get those higher than Hypercar max speeds. 👍

Let's hope the time limit will be forgiving in this 1-hour race 'cause I wouldn't wanna race this and notice midway that I'm behind the clock.

Damn was hoping for more real world sections or interesting cambers. The drifting in motorfest is top draw, and I really like it especially with the hoonigan Evo, but track forge at this stage badly needs part variation adding rather than new race types. Hopefully there is more detail soon and there might be some juicy parts thrown in to the mix? Ive abandoned track forge because you cant make corners or cambers that reflect real world locations effectively. Making drift courses wont draw me back in to track forge.

Yesssss, I can't wait to drive that 60s Italian classic from F....iat ;)

All round decent Street Tier 1 line up, in my opinion. I'm also looking forward to the Lancia.

I think they said there would be a Special Event each month, we only know about the 1 hour cruise for the 250 GTO so far.

I probably won't use the hypercars on this list ever again after using them in the Summit or Main Stage, but the rest of the lineup of cars looks good.

I'm especially looking forward to the Fiat 500. I'm hoping for an Abarth-style body kit, and also an option to have the rear hood open like in this picture.

Now, if they add the Citroen 2CV to the game, we'll be able to enjoy races featuring some of the greatest microcars that supported post-World War II Europe.

I'm a little bit worried about the Grand Tour event. I was really looking forward to some really long racing, but the fact that we need to pay a 2 mil fee to access it makes me worry a little. Can you imagine if at the end of the 1 hour race you don't get any XP and money?

A post on Reddit said the reward is just the Ferrari, no money.

@sirjim73 you are currently 993th in the custom show. You have 50 minutes to log in and vote to secure platinum. If not you will end up just a few positions outside of it. Also keep using the purple color. It helps 😊

I would have liked a prize of at least 500,000 bucks.
While not overly efficient, this would at least provide a reward for an hour-long drive and would motivate players to continue playing this event even after obtaining the 250 GTO.

For instance, I often watch movies or TV shows on services like Prime Video while gaming; if I could earn that kind of payout repeatedly, this would have been an event perfectly suited to my playstyle and lifestyle.

Same. I rather do 2 New York events in TC2 than 50 Highway chases even though the later would give me double the credits. I doubt I'm going to do the event more than once without any rewards. Which would be a shame.

For me it's not the lack of reward if confirmed that annoys me, it's the excessive entry fee. I don't play very much, don't grind, so funds are somewhat limited. The car is worth the effort & time so I'll do it, but begrudgingly.

The GTO was a delight dunno if its worth 2million credits... without the upgrade to street tier handling that came earlier in the year the hour long race would have been eternity! As is it was a fun drive.
