Three cars are new to videogames, if you don't count mobile gaming.
There's also a car I really love, from Japan, glad they put also this one here.
 
New content includes:
• New island: Kauai, with new areas such as the Red Canyon, Swamp, Napali Coast, Base Camp Island & Lihue.
• New playlist: Kauai Expedition, with new Challenge modes (Discover, Wildlife, Exploration tabs)
• New GR on Kauai
New TrackForge: Pure Dirt
• New gameplay: The winch - Check the Kauai Expedition Playlist for more info
• New camera to accommodate the Winch
• All the islands will now have some wildlife

That is absolutely amazing!! I hope at some point that the TrackForge would be available across the main Islands!!

If this is all correct, the vehicle list posted earlier makes a lot of sense.
All of this is stuff that most people (except for hypercar obsessed players) will lap up.
 
For the people playing this. Does Trackforge allow to create custom tracks and generate a playlist or championship from them?

How has Trackforge been received ?

Cant generate playlists or championships, its easy to use quite intuitive to create with. At this stage it needs a few more parts sets adding which have been promised. Its competent / decent but lacks the fidelity to create race track recreations as you would want them. Lots of potential as is with more in the future. Its worth grabbing in a sale if you're curious about it.

On another note the summit was fun this week quite surprised how much I like the Fiat 500.

Sorry one more question....do replays of races work on Trackforge and if so are they décent?

I am tempted with the current sale of 49€ which includes everything, year 3 included

Yes you can do replays the photomode is particularly good too lots of options and flexibility with time of day weather etc. It surprised me this game its genuinely addictive I never thought a crew game would be this compelling ive just short of 1700 hours and i play daily still after buying day 1. The gameplay has nuance and variety im smitten still.

The game doesn't really have championships in general. Some of the playlists function as championships with points per race, but the game is mainly about time trials, where you blast past the token AIs at the start then try to do the fastest time you can for the leaderboard.

Trackforge is about creating custom tracks from building blocks rather than custom routes through the map like in The Crew 2. I'm personally not keen on Trackforge in Motorfest as the tracks all kind of look the same due to being built from the same elements. I think it's a shame they didn't include the ability to create custom routes on the map like The Crew 2, though I'm not a huge fan of UGC in general as it means you don't know the track, and Motorfest already has, in my opinion, far too many tracks, so adding tracks I've never seen before into the Summit is a negative for me.

You might have already bought it by now, but be aware that the Year 1/2/3 DLCs are very non-essential in Motorfest, almost the entire value of the game is in the base game. You can buy almost every DLC car for in-game credits, so the main thing the DLCs do for you is effectively give you in-game credits as you don't need to spend those in-game credits buying the cars. I have the DLCs on my main account, but not my alt accounts, and I've never missed them on the alt accounts.
