Got my email 2 days ago saying I had been selected for the beta, still waiting for my code though.
 
Received an email with my code today. I'll be redeeming it later on.
 
got my code download said over 13GB at first but then went down to something like 3.2GB with a 1.9(I think) GB update file

Yeah, just noticed that I have one too - said it would take about twenty hours at first but quickly settled down to forty minutes. I'm intrigued.
 
Anyone else having trouble getting logged in? I tried it for 5 minutes in the morning and it worked but now says something about needed psn services not available. I have over 11 months ps plus left so definitely not that.

Yeah I'm having this issue too, have friends online playing it but I can't :(

I just completed the prologue, no issues.

Driveclub at the height of it's server problems did the same to me though, said I needed PS+ to play the full game. As I knew that was incorrect, I could only assume it was server traffic related.

I have seen a fair few people driving around like idiots though, so people are getting online.

Had a quick go earlier today on a couple of the starter missions and so far it's been quite enjoyable. The map has a sense of epicness about it so I'm looking forward to some coast to coast road trips.

Also, what car did you guys pick first out of the Camaro, 370Z, Mustang and Challenger? I chose the Challenger.
 
I picked the Pony, its the slowest but one of my favorite cars so I couldnt help myself. :D

Linking the game so far, too. Completed the prologue, now it says that I have to wait until the game is fully installed before I can leave the garage again. Strangely I already got the message that it is fully installed and there is no more progress bar in my news area... sigh.
 
Jumped on for a bit this morning, for this go around I picked the Challenger instead of the Mustang. Tonight I'm going for a cruise through the South and Texas, I didn't get to those on the first Beta.

Yeah, same for me, at 33% and took quite a while to get to 34%...

Glad you are enjoying it, I won't be getting this game though, just not interested really.
 
Finally got the email and started the download.

Says 30 minutes left.
 
Steering wheel users: How does it feel using a wheel? And which wheel are you using? Settings?

Anyone that's having issues connecting should change their Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8. That's what I had to do to play the first time around. It's located in the network options, but be careful that you only change primary DNS because if you mess with the wrong thing, you'll be re-doing your entire PS4 network settings.

Edit: I just closed the game and started again. Now it's working ok :D
