I just couldn't get into FFTactics, the battle system had way to many things to learn. It's more of a strategic RPG, than anything else, not the simple type where you just bash attack all the time. :D

I meant as a Final Fantasy fan it wont be anything at all like any of the other games in the series, not that it sucks as an MMORPG. :)

Basically if yer a fan of both MMORPGs and FF games... you can't go wrong :p

I believe it's still not out in Europe yet though... likley never will be :(

Back in '99 I had to import my copy of EeverQuest myself aswell. Took them untill the first expansion (Ruins Of Kunark) before it had a European Release... Ansd of course... they let those {cencored} little {cencored} uncaring {ooooh soooo cencored} UbisSoft buglers handle it.

No I got the gold chocobo before, i've just got the black one on my current save. Except i've run out of money to buy greens for it. So I need to go get some money. Then find a dashing chocobo, tune both chocobos up, race them and then i'll have me a gold one.
 
I have a printout of a strategy guide that tells me how to breed the gold chocobo. Haven't done it, though.

The Burmecians in FFIX deserve more recognition. I go by Fratley because I'm in love with Freya... seriously...

Getting the gold Chocobo is a piece of piss, well if you've replayed the game like 5million times like I have.

Well.. I havn't played FF VII yet, and it seems to be most people's favourite... must try and get my hands on it...

My opinion...

FF 8 - best (because of the degree of difficulty)
FF9 - was ok (nothing special about this one)
FF X - very good, enjoyed it! Story was cool, and it was actually entertaining for both the player (me) and the audience (my girlfriend :))
FF X-2 - dissappointing - first ever sequal in FF series - not a good idea... it felt more likea mini-game to me... not challenging at all...
