The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion---Discussion Thread

First up, for 360 and PS3 players who haven't bought it yet, get the Game Of The Year Edition. The extra content is well worth it.
For those of you who are just starting your adventure, my advice to you is: Don't go on the main quest straight away. Spend lots of time wandering the gameworld and getting to know the locations, people and landmarks. That way you can fast-travel around the game easily at a later date. Also, the many quests that you come across can yield some very useful items that will aid you when you do decide to follow the main story. But most importantly, you will need to spend time levelling up and becoming a stronger character, since the main quest can become difficult towards the end.
I spent over 100hrs on this game before I continued the main story. Am currently clocked at over 150hrs, am still only half way through it, and am still finding new stuff to do. Spent around 30hrs on the Shivering Isles expansion. This game is HUGE.

Secondly, does anybody know when the next Elder Scrolls game is coming? Since Betheseda's recent line up of games are NOT actually being developed by them(Brink, Fallout New Vegas etc), I am assuming that they hard at work on the sequel to Oblivion.

I just hope we are not in for a waiting time like GT5. My current elf-bashing(aparto from Oblivion) is to be found in Morrowind which I got cheap for my laptop, but am finding it a very difficult game to get into.

Bethesda have said their "Secret Project" is nearly complete, I'm guessing it is a new Elder Scrolls, or a new completely new game.
