The DAP is absolutely bonkers. It goes like, "oooh, I'm understeering, I'm understeering, I'm not gonna make it- NOW I'M SLIDING ON ALL FOUR WHAT THE HELL". It's fun, but takes some time to get used if you're expecting it to handle like a modern kart.
The F3 is like a dog; thrash it around, and it will reward you with puppy love. Out of the three cars, it's the one that feels the more underpowered (but the only realistic competitor for this title is the DAP, because, come on). Throwing away a second per lap around old Brands Hatch until I finally managed a gold proved to be a more rewarding experience than I expected.
And then, there's the Lotus. Which you will likely meet for the first time at Monza. And we're not talking about the modern version of the track, with the sissy 2nd-gear Goodyear chicane, oh no. You'll enter at 350kph the old esses of the Variante del Rettifilo, turbocharged V6 screaming and a cloud of smoke rising from the locked front tires. And you will love it. The first challenge is easy, as you won't be as limited as Senna was by the undeniably human fear of crashing at 300kph. Brands Hatch? Whole different beast. It took me the best part of this afternoon to get a lap only a tenth of a second faster.
I'd say that PD deserves an 11/10 and a round of applause for this update, and the work done on the Senna content.
P.S: I'm yet to check if PD provided the 97T with alternative aero packages. Did they? Please, tell me they did.
