You can try and keep the turbo spooled up with some partial throttle (works well on high speed corners) and/or get on the throttle a little earlier than you normally would.

A good example of getting on the throttle early is going through Surtees in 4th gear. Get the line and timing right and you pull away down the next straight compared to someone going through in 3rd and then having to manage the wheelspin and change up to 4th. It helped me record an absolute cracker of a lap.

Tapping the throttle in some turns helps keep the boost up. 👍

Yes, but then you miss that massive turbo 'whump' you get kicking you in the behind when you floor it!

mmmmmm turbo whump*......

*best onomatopoeia i could think of for this turbo

I could reiterate what has already been said, but instead, I'll let the statistics below speak for itself. Briefly, I've had a blast with the content provided. Hell, If it wasn't for my better half, I would still be playing.

I give credit where credit is due and this one is well deserved, PD.

The Senna update make up for most of the total milage (~1300 km; WSR F3 + 97T),
driving time (50-60 hours (if not more), both on- and offline) as well photos taken.

That's what I was trying to do, but there's so little room in between "no gas" and "all gas" it's really hard to control. I'll have to give it a go with my wheel since I could barely make the bronze medal with my controller.

Great piece of DLC and best of all it was free :))))))

First time back on GT6 in months and really enjoying it!

Little complaint about the 80's layout of brands and monza considering PD kept the new buildings, run off areas etc, but still loving every minute with these new cars and layouts!

My favorite part is the story with it. I've never really cared about Formula racing (still don't tbh) but after watching the Senna documentary on Velocity and then all the story in this DLC.

I'm glad I know who Ayrton Senna is now, and wow what a legend he has left behind!

What as in 'wtf?' - I was joking with my friend mirado regarding his F1 liking.
What as in 'what does his shrine consist of?' -probably jenson button :p
Yes, the first one. That's what I meant. :)

Haha, I was wondering what button you could possibly be talking about, then I looked it up. /facepalm :dunce:
I really do watch almost exclusively sports car racing tho.

I've only driven the 97T lately obviously, but i love driving it in "Race trim" where the cars were limited to 650BHP. It feels stable and you hear more turbo than engine (2014 F1 reference). The downforce settings are very fun to tweak, i might as well say the whole thing is fun to tune! I've never had so much fun tuning a car in GT as much as the 97T, as i'm very greatful to have this content. Thank you Kaz (Except that time you suspended my account)!

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but does anybody how the Lotus setup is changed in the events compared to the stock setup on the car you get? I noticed a big difference in handling, the car turns in better and is more oversteery in the Brands event.

I know! It's so weird! :odd:

If PD released more cars into the Senna DLC such as the McLaren MP4/4 and get the the sound right for that car too... Second coming of Jesus for me. But then again it's licensing issues with McLaren I guess that's making it unlikely.

It will probably say "McLaren" on the side instead of Marlboro. :yuck:

I can't for the life of me achieve bronze or better the second time trial on stage 3. What's the best set-up for it?
