Part of livery ideas I have for the F3500-A is fictional open-wheel cars from other games/sims. For instance, the McPherson-Alpha Formula RR 90 from RaceRoom, despite never playing RaceRoom myself. (The McPherson was chosen in particular since I think the decals would be readily available, with it also on the V12 version of the car to match F3500-A's engine.)

I originally painted it carbon, but the in game carbon paint is a little too grey. Also, you can't apply the pearl look to decals. So, I inverted it. I painted the car Alfa Competition Red and added semi gloss decals. I chose no tire decals or tire branding on the car. You can always alter the tires in GT Auto.

Two more

First up, I did the BAR Dual livery. I did this with a ton of grunt work because I couldn't find the Lucky Strike side's graphics. So, I used the preset shapes and did the best I could. I am not doing a full Lucky Strike version.

First up, I did the BAR Dual livery. I did this with a ton of grunt work because I couldn't find the Lucky Strike side's graphics. So, I used the preset shapes and did the best I could. I am not doing a full Lucky Strike version.

I’ve always found this livery the best ever. Everyone disliked it, but I just thought it was awesome.
 
Added a Williams FW15C to the garage and a Ferrari F93 and touched up the F92 a bit. Also noticed I hadn't posted a full pic of the Lotus 107b in here yet.

And I bought a 10th F3500A to do.... don't know which replica livery on yet.

I might redo the AMR so I can change the green to a metallic/pearl effect. I wanted the true carbon base paint, but that precludes using the pearl shader on the paint. Now, I'm thinking matte or semigloss decals on a pearl paint might be better.

And I did. I found the hex code for Aston Martin racing green, converted it to HSV and then tweaked the colour in game.

I did a VCARB02 (I've been on a livery kick). I went looking for a VCARB livery and couldn't find one with the bull pattern on the tail, so I made my own.

Tip:

I "mixed" the color of AMR on a Honda RA272 and used Chevy Turquoise Metallic as base paint and put a full body decal in green over it with HSV as in pic below, opacity 6%.

It comes out like this on the RA272 (and other cars I've done in that livery)

I did the new Alpine last night.

I used the factory alpine paint for the blue. For the pink, I converted the hex code for BWT bright pink and then darked it a couple steps.
 
Done!!! I had a client appointment cancel and I had time to kill. The weather is awful, so I finished off all 10 F1 teams for the 2025 season.

Not to toot my own horn, but I think the F3500 looks amazing with the 2025 liveries.

The Engine swaps REALLY make these cars come to life, both the A and B versions.

I wish it were easier to find the people in game, but the best thing to do is go to your showcase and search for the car/livery. You should find them there. I used the web page because I find it a little easier.


F3500B - McLaren MP4/10 - I did the V10 swap in mine and tuned it down to 690hp

One more. The Jordan 198. This was a tough one because I had to make the nose decal out of the default shapes.
