I make liveries as a way to decompress. I often download liveries from others, but sometimes I get something stuck in my head, especially over the last few days. So, even though there's hundred of these liveries out there, I made my own versions.
This is the Benetton 193 based on Schumacher's 1993 Portuguese GP winner. Most people do the B192 and I like to be a little different.
And the Williams FW16. I know this is one of the most popular liveries out there, but each one of the others bothered me with little inconsistencies that, admittedly, I'm likely the only one to notice or even care about, so let me step through them all.
- First up, I made a version for Senna, Hill, and Coulthard.
- I found all the hex codes for the Rothmans brand and converted them to HSV to get the proper colours, so all colours on this livery are brand accurate (I do this for all my cars btw.)
- I started with a Rothmans Aztec Gold metallic base for proper metallic gold stripes (most people seem to prefer to use a pale yellow stripe)
- The front and rear wings are carbon fiber instead of just black, which seems to be what most cars use.
- Lastly, I added the Williams "W" logo on the head rest.
