The f40 in GT is very easy to thrash compared to AC

Probably most people realize, or would hope they do that GT class cars do use TC, and ABS, so it is not sacrilege to use them.

Why would you turn TC off on a car that was designed with it? I still don't get this obsession with turning TC off on cars that were designed with electronics. The F40 yes.. But modern sports cars?
It's a video game. People are going to play the way they prefer to play. TC and ABS in games also isn't always representative of their real life counterparts.

As long as this is the end result, gts's version is good enough for me :D I think in 5p's earliest build with the car I was happiest pushing it hard.

The combo of red shorts and full racing harness makes Monkey look like he's about to go yodelling.

While the F40 obviously doesn't have any driving aids, it's worth pointing out modern TCS/SC is very complicated. It's different, not only across different marques, but even different models. As far as I can tell, it's simply a global system in GT Sport. Nothing wrong with that — it'd be a lot of work for PD to model each company's systems, if that's even possible — but it does mean running a car with the aids on won't necessarily be representative of the aids-on experience in the real car.

All that said, in our test drive, I found the F40 oddly easy to drive. Not to hot-lap, as the gearing and oversteer are the main issues, but in terms of just knowing what it's going to do, it felt very predictable. From what I've read across years of magazines, that doesn't sound particularly accurate (GT seems to be missing turbo lag), but YMMV.

Not sure it's realistic but I love how it feels in GTSport. I use a controller and the F40 can be steered with the throttle, drifting fast sweepers feels fantastic. Very fun imo (just like a game should be).

It doesn't correlate with real life but it's AC so it's automatically better. Is that what you're saying :p ?

When I drove F40 in GT6 on CM tires on Tsukuba using the DFPro, it was undriveable for the first couple of laps until tires got warm. Then it was predictable and exaclty like a big cart. I was turnng it more with the acceleratior than with the wheel. With CS tires I was able to push hard after the 1st lap due to easier to warmup tire compound. If that's the way it handles in GTS, I think it is pretty accurate as everyone who drove that car in dry tarmac have said that it is very fast and easy for an experienced driver. On the wet it is simply forbidden to drive due to the high-pressure twin-turbo lag nature of the engine making it horrible in slippery conditions.
