Haha. Great updates, I specially love the colorful look of last Chevy! Amazing as always :D

Salu2.alexwrc

Thanks alex:) I hope you enjoy the next update as well:D

The Focus is really sweet Cod but I think you blurred the wheels not enough .D

Oh well, the colors are lovely though 👍

Thanks Ultra. I had some trouble with the wheels when trying to blur them. When I went with a higher value they got very noisy. I decided to go with a lower value on the blur and lost some of the look of speed.

Wow, that Focus is outstanding! Looks very elegant. 👍

Thanks Moglet:)

I really like the Camero, great colours and nice blurring. 👍

Thanks:)

Wow. Awesome. Incredible. Etc.

Love the Focus :)👍

Thanks Sam. I hope you'll like the SLR below just as much.

I like the Focus Rally Car update 👍

Thanks:)

I've been sick with the flu for the last week and haven't felt like doing much of anything. Today I'm all alone (well, except for our pets) and figured it would be a good time to play some GT4. Here are a couple shots of the SLR cruising the test course at 220 mph. I may make another update from some other pictures taken during this shoot later this week. I know two of the shots in this update are similar, but I really like both of them;)

Enjoy.

You completely took me away with the first shot there, incredible colors as always 👍

Now THAT is beauty. It's simple, elegant and calm. I really enjoy photographs like this because they just make me feel at peace and this really reflects the beauty of the car in question. It's quiet, understated and yet somehow the entire image still gets across the feeling of it being an absolute beast of a machine!

The entire update looks like something you'd find in a brochure! I really like this style and it seems to work well for you. Keep it up and you'll be winning contests left right and center... 👍

Thanks Sam. I hope you'll like the SLR below just as much.

Oh I do :) These shots really are, as Moglet said, something that you would find in a brochure, even an art portfolio. They are so soft, but so firm at the same time. I love them, keep it up.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm really happy with the way these shots turned out and while I don't want to focus on using a blur to amplify the shots, I believe it was needed to get the sense of speed across a bit better;)

Here are some more that I did since I posted the other shots. I'm really happy with the second one, even with some of the mistakes/imperfections.

They're both brilliant photos in every possible sense, but the bottom one is mindblowing!
The elegance and moodiness of them is just astonishing coming from a videogame, how the hell did you do it?!

Wow, those SLR shots look really impressive. Professional to say the least. I agree with Moglet, the second one is astounding and has a very nice mood to it. Awesome skills man. 👍

This time, the reflections seems more complex, less soft. The shots are awesome, quite elegant as your style. The speed sense you said is also very interesting with that circuit and background 👍

very nice MOGLET!! unfortunately, that's all i can say about this update. they're just too nice!

Thanks Moglet:) Getting comments like this from the artists I look up to on this site keeps me going:) As for how I do it, it's a lot of luck most of the time.

Rediculous skills...just rediculous.

Thanks:)

Thanks. I'm really happy with that shot and now when I look at it I'm amazed at what I ended up with from what I started with... if that makes sense.

Agreed, these shots are so pretty, it's kind of ridiculous...

Awesome job Cod 👍

Thanks Ultra:)

Thanks alex. I had to give this car it's due when it comes to speed. I actually watched the clip from Top Gear when Jeremy tests the SLR in the middle of my editing to get some extra inspiration:)

very nice MOGLET!! unfortunately, that's all i can say about this update. they're just too nice!

Uhh... Moglet thanks you? ;)

Well, here's the last one in this set for the SLR. Yes, another motion blur, but still staying with the "speeding beast" theme;)

Now, can anyone help me with how to do a curved blur?

Very nice, as good as the others 👍

The curved blur eh? I'd like to know it as well, I've heard something about a radial blur on the background earlier though...Oh well, hope someone can explain it 👍

My method is to duplicate the layer, and make bigger the canvas size to fit the center of the radial blur into the image.

As much amplitude you need for the blur, a bigger canvas you'll need. Try a different positions of the center to create a correct effect according to the perspective, and delete the layer except the blurred asphalt you need.

It's hard to explain with words, I hope you had undertood me a bit.

Ahm, that SLR is great one more time! I love it. And yep, it remembers me the Top Gear style 👍

awesome SLR shots man, i love them sooo much, the tones in all of them are beautiful!! also, ive always wanted to learn the corner blur too!!!

WOW!! Those SLR sets are just amazing C_F!! The detail is great on all shots, and the colors are lovely. How did u made those shots look so good?!
Well done mate, 5 stars shots:)

I believe I understand what you are saying. I'll have to experiment with it sometime soon. Thanks for the input Alex:)

I believe Alex has a good start above;)

Well done mate, 5 stars shots:)

Thanks NTX. I used my standard photoediting techniques on these shots. In a few of them I used a layer done with an IR effect, which is new for me.

The latest SLR shot is just great.

Thanks TVR:)

The SLR updates are awesome
the focus and the elise are very pretty as well
good job

The latest image looks like a camera from Top Gear or something, with that vignetting at the top of the frame. It looks very classy, good stuff!
As for the curved blur surely you could just use several layers set at different angles and then erase the bits you don't want?

The SLR shots are great CF! The blueish color tones are sweet. I really like them. And the technicality of the blurs and stuff are really accurate as well. Really nicely done again.👍

I've tried it but it didn't turned out too well, you could clearly see where every layer was placed :indiff:

But practice makes perfect 👍

The first thing I thought when I saw the last SLR shot was Top Gear. That shot is so good it could pass as a screen shot of TG. Fantastic work C_F, that last one is my fav and one of my fav images on GTPlanet. Keep up the great work. 👍

Thanks guys. Glad to hear from you Franz:)

I feel like I may have temporarily outdone myself with the SLR shots. I tried getting some other photoshoots done over the last couple of days and haven't been very successful with much of anything.

I did do this Ruf shot tonight. I got a little lost with the editing and ended up with this. I like it. Not sure what the prevailing opinion will be;)

I think it looks cool C_F, something different that I haven't seen on here. Not too many people use the artistic filters, but some of them are quite neat if you use them in moderation. Great work, I really like the cutout filter and the colours. It reminds me of a ad or something. 👍
