The Ford Roadster 1963 Has Not Appeared In The LCD In Over 250 Days

Just thought I make this thread to bring attention to the fact that this car has now gone over 250 days without appearing in the legend car dealership.

A lot of us haven't gotten a chance to buy it and won't be able to finish our collection due to PD for some unknown reason not fixing this car rotation.

@Eggstor Knows alot more about the hostage situation with this car.

I also bring it up cause the Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special 1998 was also missing for over 200+ days but that one got fixed.

Not worse than cars locked behind invitations you receive randomly, regardless of how many cars of the brand you already have or events featuring that brand where you won...

Another weird thing on PD's long list of missing/ill designed/broken/lame/weird/contradictory features...
 
I remember a twit by nenkai mentioning that both the Escudo and the Deuce LCD rotation was bugged. Some updates ago PD corrected the Escudo and was available again after being absent for months. Iirc he mentioned some time ago that the Deuce rotation was still bugged... and I guess it continues.
Well, long time no see the Dior's Mangusta, but I don't miss it

Sorry but I respectfully disagree with invite cars the player always has a chance of getting a invite at any giving day to buy said cars and those invite cars haven't vanish for over 250 days.

Where is the chance on any giving day to buy the ford? I guess if you count on pd fixing it in which cause I rather take my luck with getting a invite.

You give me too much credit. The only things I know beyond what the average person who doesn't keep very close track of Hagerty's knows are exactly how long it's been since the Roadster has been gone, and how many times each of the cars (except for the Trophy Three, which are well in excess of 6 each) has appeared since the Roadster last was available. On the latter, except for the Escudo (once) and the 1970 Nissan Skyline GT-R (twice), every car that was in the game when the Roadster was last available has been made available at least 3 times since the Roadster sold out on 8/24/2022.

The other big problem is that its engine swap only became available after its last appearance, so those of us who don't want to pull the Mopar motor out of the one(s) we have are also impatiently waiting.

That was a bit more recent as @tankuroded pointed out. I missed the February tweet from Nenkai.

As for the Dior Mangusta, that was last available last month for 8 days, after being available from its introduction near the end of August through the end of January.

It's a bit complicated. It started life as a 1932, but the owner of the example in the game began his modifications/restoration in 1963. That 1963 designation is a "hidden" one, shown only in the Car Collection and the alternate view of the Change Car screen.

As much as I want this car, I’ve basically given up. I refuse to get worked up anymore.

The lesson here is to immediately purchase any Legend DLC you might have the slightest interest in buying, as who knows when/if it will ever return.

It's just a game brother. There shouldn't be anything to get worked up about anyway. If it comes, it comes, if it doesn't, it doesn't.

Bigger worries in life than if the 1963 Ford Roadster appears in the Legends Dealership in good time or not.

Yeah. It's just a game. Content being inaccessible for over 250 days for no good reason should never have been a worry in the first place.

I believe so, unless they manually add it as a "Hot" car for some time. The Escudo only appeared after new cycles were generated, and that was after an update.

I can confirm that the Escudo will be coming back, so it really is just an issue with the car listing not currently containing the Ford when generating day cycles.
 
The used car menu is a terrible idea. Want online league racing with old or legend cars? Can't do it, because if you weren't on the game for a week or you didn't have the credits in that window, you can't compete.

All so you feel like you'll miss out if you dont splurge on microtransactions. Awful, awful, awful.
 
Watch them put it in the LCD today only to have this patch coming tonight take it away. 😬🤬😮‍💨

Is it even available as a buy with real money car?
